@madafakkaa Ok now, if you're referring to the AA hand and how Lederer played it, here's my 2 and a half cents; Howard actually IS a pro poker player, "BUT" he's sort of the old school type (read; predictable, a nit or whatever, though he has his moments) and Eli knows this. Most people would fold the 8's after a raise/re-raise, but Eli isnt most people and he knew when Howard re-popped it he had AK minimum -and even more likely a big pair- and that if he'd get the right flop, he could win big.

@madafakkaa Ok, so now; when Eli smoothcalls the flop, in Howards mind Eli could only have a club draw (like AK) or a 'slow-played' big pair, since most people wouldnt have anything on that board. (Though I think Phil might've called the rr for the same reason with probably the same results) So when another club doesnt hit the turn, Howard 'knows' if Eli has K's or Q's, he will call, the only rational thing to do there is to ship it. Unlucky for him Eli had hit his dream flop and he went bust.

@madafakkaa So in the end, it was just a slight error of jugdement on Howard's part. So what? It was just a 100K, that's probably Lederer's lunchmoney. And just to clear this up; a 'pro' poker player doesnt mean he wins all hands, all the time.. Duh! =) Even Phil Ivey and Durrrrrrrrrrr make mistakes. Its rare, but they do ;) And sorry for the rant, i just get annoyed by comments of that sort.. And i'm a little buzzed, so pls forgive me. PS.I'm not even a big fan of HL, really..

@xFerris To be fair, it's hard to put elie on a hand there, with a raise and re-raise before him, what do you put him on when he calls? A 9 isn't in that range, so all that can beat him on that board is pocket 9's, pocket 8's, pocket 3's. He could be on a flush or straight draw. So it's a tough hand.
