I could have bought a '79 Macho for $1500! I had a '78 403 T/A and my friend had a '72 T/A and we were going to part it out!!? The owner had spun-out 360 degrees on the freeway and banged up all 4 corners, but the car ran well and straight. When I went to look at it, a guy in a '78 Macho showed up to look at it, too. The other guy immediately bought it, LOL. This was in the San Fernando Valley in the late 80's, if any of you are "the other guy" who bought it and fixed the damage...
