@bwan516 Honestly, pinto kind of sucks if your fishing from shore. You are limited to the front of the lake. You can not walk on the sides and there are usually people feeding ducks which usually scares off some of the fish that are hanging around.
Where do you live? Maybe I can give you some recommendations for some better spots.
@MrEastside619 Make sure you get a good set of fins as your legs and fins will be how you get around your pond or lake. My first set of fins were the real long diver type and after a few hours my shins started to hurt. I ended up losing them and replaced them with force fins and haven't looked back since.
A personal flotation device makes you feel a little more safe on the water, especially if your going to be tubing alone. A pair of waders is needed in the winter and colder waters.

try alil farther from the weed almost completely open water eather drop shot or try a tube but fersher try a big jig with a craw or uncle joes trailers
my friend and i use a night crawler on a drop shot rig...i personally have a 4.5 pound bass as my bigest on the rog...also try a black 6"worm texas style. thanx for the pinto experience.

Try drop shotting 4.5" and 6" Roboworms. It works really well. I caught two 3 lb bass a couple days ago. I hardly ever get dinks.
