  • SubhanAllah, brother Bilal practices what he preaches. He maintains patience and peace despite the constantly crying children in the room, that alone would drive most bros crazy :D salamu alaikum

  • Very good talk. You could make more such talks , rather than talk about different sects of Islam. There are so many practical lessons in this , that every young and old can use it ,to improve one selves One's family ,.One's community and one's country.

  • this talk was illusive to get hold off

  • going through troubles with trust in God??????? its very strange it shatter the whole idea of believe in GOD

  • a very nice lecture thanks for uploading it..

  • what was the nasheed at 52:55

  • what is the nasheed at the beginning?!

  • this nigger is talking about inner peace while he calls are shias kafar?? doesnt make sense, now does it mr nigger?

  • @shiapowerful you are a kafir and i see how rasict you are

  • @shiapowerful The first person in islam to make adan was a black brother. But oh that wouldn't apply to you...

  • Dear muslim brothers and sisters, we should also focus to our people whom our responsibilities lies... we are not taking care of our own people, our ex spouse 's children.may GOD ALLAH GUIDE us all

  • A True test is to love your neighbors and sacrifice yourself for others, not for Allah. God has everything already, He doesn't need our worship. True worship lies in the fact that one human can forgive another, and show mercy compassion. Because we a limited beings, and if we show this action, it will make Allah truly happy...not worshipping him 5 times a day, then going and doing selfish things. It's even selfish to do good deeds in order to receive a 'reward' in Jenna. That is selfish!

  • @SpatialVortex The purpose of human life is to worship God alone without partner. Worship means to do all of the things that God commands us to do and to keep away from the things that God forbids us, as well as strive to do all the good deeds God encourages us to do and to keep away from the things that God discourages us to do, but are lawful (divorce for example).

  • @SpatialVortex You are correct that God has absolutely no need for our worship, but we have been created with the purpose to worship God, and this life is nothing but a test. If you reject your purpose and God you are in loss. Everything that God commands us to do and encourages us to do is good for us and all of humanity, everything that God forbids us or discourages us to do is bad for us and all of humanity. How is it selfish to do this? God knows best what is best for us.

  • This man has the brain of a monkey. Although that might be unfair on monkeys.

  • What is that nasheed in the beginning????

  • Arabic.

  • @BUBLOOGABLOO I know its in the arabic language, but I wanted to know what the name of the nasheed is...and who is singing it

  • I know. I was just joking.

  • @BUBLOOGABLOO oh lol ok!

  • "Surrender to Unchangeable," O my, what a wonderful phrase. Thank You my brother Bilal. I believe, everyone have a choice. It's only a matter of where we put our consciousness in every moment that come and goes by, not to what our liking, except by the provision of Allah.

  • Life is not fair. Its uneven. and its only for the strong and the weak. Happiness is a illusion. There is no such thing as happiness. Men was built to self destruct Only God can fulfill happiness in the heart. Its very hard to stay straight. Heaven is not easy to get. But hell is right around the corner. Nothing comes easy in life.

  • That why and because it's a test.

  • I experience peace of mind sir, I do. Each and every day. Because I have a higher understanding of what it means to be human and I have understanding of the world where I live.

Do not mislead the people sir. THERE IS POSSIBLE TO BE AT PEACE. God says so and "He" is not a liar.

  • Poison food, water (fluoride), bad medicine, bad "solutions" have created a suck USA society. So, this people are not ill because of technology, but from lack of information.

So, o assume people are ill because of the way they live is not accurate: Poisons are poisoning the mind of people. Bad TV too.

    cont

  • Sure We muslim believe in Allah but that doesn't change the fact that we all struggle in this Life. Life is full of stress and struggle and pain and sorrow and death and being poor. Is part of life and believing in God keep one sane and hope for a better life after death. Believing God doesn't mean your life will be better then the next man but at lease it gives you hope that if you follow the right path you will find happiness at the end.

  • Most sadness comes from comparing ourselves to others who have been given something we percieve to be better.

But Allah has knowledge of what is good for us.

Being content and spiritually connected to Allah is the path to being happy.

  • Thank you!!! I will try to be content.

  • Why find happiness at the end? We can and should have happiness now; so much to give thanks for. And for what is wrong, we can find happiness on the work to try to change it, maybe for the next generations.

The world is wrong in many ways because most people do not know their real role in society. God gave the world to us.

Heaven is withing our hearts. God is in our heart.

    Peace and love to all.

  • okay, sister, I believe.

Allah told us that this life is nothing but a test that's why it's temporary. So our aim is not this life but the hearafter. That's why true believers don't care about this life and it's affairs thier mind is focused and set on how to be prepared for this perfect life-ETERnal one. :)

  • It's a test. You'll get the result at the end.

  • @AntDabarber916 , Brother You said exactly the right thing. Thats what missing from us these world. I pray for all my Muslim brothers and Sisters and for all non Muslim for the right guidance.

  • @AntDabarber916 , pain with believe in GOD??????? PROBABLY ITS WRONG BELIEVE

  • @AntDabarber916 not only will it make your life better if you believe in Allah but it will make your afterlife better as well..struggles of this short life are the test to see the truth in our faith. Being muslim and belief in Allah guides on the the right path to eternal bliss with the mercy of Allah for we are not perfect..

  • The singing is beautiful........

  • Thank you brother Bilal. I learnt a lot. May Allah pay you!

  • ما شاء الله

    تبارك الله

  • When can I purchase this video?

  • you can download it by downloading a youtube downloader from google for free :)

  • JazakallahKhair'n

  • may Allah reward Bilal Philps khyran and the one who upload this lecture

  • If you knew inner peace the kids wouldn't phase you. So then, was Mahatma Gandhi correct when he said Jews, Christians, Muslims, [Hindus] etc. etc. all worship the same God?

  • We're all "suppose" to worship the same God.

  • Interesting and inspiring!

  • very clear and precise

  • Mr. Philips' words are gold.

  • If muslism focus on what bilal philips pointed out that. there is no change without the premision of Allah this is the key in achiving inner peace.

  • May Allah bless this brother inshallah

  • Excellent

  • Excellent lecture...

  • lol always happens with muslims. always.

  • I disagree with you RyuJeetKundo, I can be exposed to physical distress nontheless and to our earthly turmoil, but what is within can be touched by no finger or hand. As Socrates said, You can kill me but you can't hurt me." Period.

  • I believe his reference in, "to those who in seeking are unable to find inner peace" is in fact rather far too generalized. And what forms of yoga are talking about? What form of yoga are you talking about and what form of meditation are you talking about? Keep your negative comments to youtself. As far as I am concerned, I've much peace in my life and meditation in fact is clinically proven to bring peace physically and spiritually to a persons life. Meditation works for me.

  • Well we muslims do it throught our Salah. We don't need yoga or any form of hindu meditation. The Salah is superior to any form of meditation.

  • Well said my brother. yes indeed we muslim need to hold fast to this f act.

  • Indeed

  • Excellent lecture! Sheikh Bilal Philips is one of the best communicators of Islam in the English speaking world. Thanks for uploading.

  • Great lecture
