Also because of the poor ratings they then got because of the crap scheduling, the producers started trying to fix the outcome of battles - one look at the Storm 2 website makes sad reading. Good description. I'd also tweak the arena, and make the walls higher - in Series 7 Out of the Arenas were happening almost every week, such was the power that flipper weapons now had. With all due respect, there was some robots in the semis of Series 7 that would've never made it out of the heats had the previous all-stars still been there. IG-88 looked like it would give the seeded Dantomkia a good fight, but one good flip ruined that idea. However, I expected nothing less from them... Good for you, Dantomkia!
@mellebaby1 this series of robot wars was actually shown on Channel 4 on a sunday/saturday night before it was on jetix (I think BBC 2 lost the rights to it after series 6)
