Believe it or not those Game Genie codes for Battletoads did appear in the codebook. But here's one that I discovered by accident: IAXAALAE That code will have you start directly on the final battle with the Dark Queen.

Exactly. But Gamepro was always inferior to Nintendo Power (back before NP became a propaganda magazine). I wonder if this show's ever revealed a tip that didn't show up in Nintendo Power first or that wasn't completely obvious to any gamer who had a brain.

Uh... Nintendo Power was always propaganda... it's just a matter of degree. The mag was always produced by Nintendo and only featured Nintendo games and in it's early days (88-89), didn't include reviews... and when they started to, they almost never gave a bad review.

Actually I'm talking about the early days before NP put full page ads for their products. Which was strange because the magazine was already a giant ad for their products. But why not? Back in the day, Nintendo was the only console worth caring about. Plus, unlike Gamepro, the tips and tricks offered in that magazine were actually useful. Not to mention the full color maps of the stages. Gamepro was just a sad, sad imitator. Nintendo ruled the fucking world.

I "had" some eps featuring B-Man. The two of them did a "Hot at the Arcades" with Dragon's Lair 2. I think altogether, I had about 5 episodes featuring Brennan, and maybe 10-12 others that sadly have been taped over, or gone missing. Dang!
