All armors seen in this video will be available for all. This isnt a Korean/Asian version of GW2, its fucking same game just with Korean language. Jesus christ.

You will of course be able to make your char look whatever you want, asian, african, western, alien what ever you want. -.-

So it only makes fucking sense that everything you see is how the game is.. There aren't going to be different versions of the game.. Just different langauges..

It is same version of gw2 that you will play. Everyone will able to change language for example between dutch, english and korean.

@leongradoazz What do you mean Asianized? Language as for the language, they're demoing it in Korea. For the armour, they said they'll explain everything in a series of blog posts this week. My guess is because they want to give the Koreans a taste of what the high level armour will look like.

@JellyjoaniBelly They just used a higher lv armor's skin for this, one that appeals to the Korean market better. I guess Koreans really like skimpy armor whereas many in the west feel it's somewhat tasteless to have respected heroes fight in lingerie. The real armor itself will be in all versions as will the option to make your character look asian. The cinematic is an improved version of the older one. Who knows what it'll look like when GW2 is finally released. :)

Well... but You have almost infinite number of korean mmo with sexy/unrealistic armors. Once in a while there comes a game, where runing in lingerie means instant death (notice there will be no heavy armors in bikini style) and everybody make fuss of it. Why? Want cute/sexy/adorable armor? Pick any other game...

@jcSadOne I agree it looks stupid, instant death when u run around half naked but the kind of people who play this like boobs and legs more than realistig looking armor. You can change the appearance of ur armor to make it look more realistic but u will still die as fast as someone in lingerie. xD

Well actualy no - heavy armors don't have this half naked look in Guild Wars (except maybe gladiator elite) and as far as I hear - no steel bikini for GW2. It's like with Charr female - they doesn't look like human with cat head and big furry boobies - and wasn't it what people "wanned"(all the fan Charr-female fiction pictures around)? I hate animorphs and as I see - ANet aint sold to them as well. It look that they think similar about armors.

Yeah - I'm happy to. Was a bit scared, when they show demo for G-Star, but on their blog there was info, that armors were specially choosen to fit more Korean MMO style. I reaylly crave for good european dark ages armors - hard to find in any MMO right now (except for Dark Ages or Warhammer, but still - not the games I want to play).

Really cheers for GW2... killing time, still playing GW1 :P

@jcSadOne Don't know where you heard this. When discussing armor, they always say there's "sexy" armor and "practical" armor. They are all about choice; not shoe-horning a specific type of aesthetic on players.

Personally I tend to either go for a cliche evil look or something really silly like a fat dude wearing hot pink. :p Also I dunno why you brought the gender thing up. Ironmaiden is a torture device (and a band) so I think most would assume you are a man when they see it.

@bliblablok they promised closed beta in 2011, it will happen. As for the 8th profession, my guess is we'll get it sometime before December. Worst case scenario is we wait until Christmas.
