Im pretty sure I found this in colorado, but Im not sure enough to brew up some tea lol. Is there any other plant that looks like Mormon Tea? Can I be fooled into drinking something poisonous?

Thank you. I'm a Student of Sanskrit and the Rig Veda and in my opinion, the most likely candidate for the Ambrosia of the gods "Soma" is some species of Ephedra- at least originally. PsuedoEphedra (Sudafed) is synthesized by some fermenting yeast proccess with a red dye coating added ( I'm allergic to the red coating). Manfactured in India or China. Understood, Mormon variety does not have much of a kick; however, might try and obtain an issue for spring time Allergies. Cheers.

Ephedra Nevadensis (Brigham Tea) has NO Ephedrine in it, only Pseudoephedrine.
