@ChChChEm U dont get it, thats a guy recording some ships, yeah jjust recording ships and shooting at them, but theres ALOOOOT more to the game, and if u try lets say pretty much any other game for 1 year and then move onto this u pretty fast get the feeling of how much more complex and wonderfull this game is. Eve is also probably the game with most adrenaline in, like RL adrenaline cuz u start shaking like a fck while in pvp. Theres alot more to it than this, really.

This game has hooked me in for the last 4 years and features one of the most harsh pvp combat in any game..
Yes to begin with the game has a huge difficulty curve which most on a 14 day trial cannot hack. It also takes a fair while to become a competant 'pilot' on account of the way in which characters progress through time.
Unlike other MMORPG's the game has only one server and is a true sandbox and when you get past the "Grind and spiders" aspect it is truly epic

Over all, I have to say that EVE is one of the best games I have ever played. It takes a good 2 months to get into and also has a hard learning curve. But once you get the basics and start to get going further into the game it becomes great.
@tupapiputo There is a lot of ways to get money (ISK) in EVE. Mining, Trade, Manufactoring and nother types of Industry. For Combat you have Missions, Rats (NPC) Bounties and Loot and also PVP (Players) Bounties and also Loot.
Also, different corporations do different things, if your in a corp you can get money either more easily or it could be harder depending on what your doing.
Or you can just buy Plex / GT Cards and sell it for the in-game money (ISK).
I've read through pages of comments, I read 3 times people say "Become a pirate, take over the universe".
That is INCREDIBLY misleading, the people you're up against in the game have YEARS of skill points more than you and goes against game mechanics to catch up, there is no catching up, there will be no taking over the universe, a sector even the area around your own ship is hard to keep for yourself.
I honestly ran out of things I found fun to do in the game. It is probably the most repetitive game in the industry.
There is NOTHING to do in this game that's fun for any long period of time, any video you see on here that looks fun in all reality is mostly automated by your ships and VERY RARELY happens.
Do you like flipping burgers? That's exactly what Eve-Online is like, you're the little guy rakin' in the money for some morbidly obese guy on Welfare whos played since the release.
I know where you're coming from Jedi, I stopped playing Eve after 5 months because I fully realized what I was doing... and that was WORKING after I get home from work, only this second round I'm paying someone to work for them.
Eve revolves around ISK, corporations CONTROL the game so you will either become one of their slaves, a boring pirate or just float around in the abyss. There are no linear goals in Eve, only ISK and Epeen.
This game WAS fun. But after realizing it...it really sucks. I know people will defend it and I did to, that's ok. But let's compare here....
It's a time waster. People say you can do whatever the fuck you want!? HA. Yah, like getting blasted to fucking hell when you want to go and have fun or waiting 2 months for training skills like weapon upgrades 5 to train..before you get anything good. Or wait 8 months before you are considered a ...ok pilot. This game sucks! You will see one day
I wasted one year of my life on this game...every night after work...for 6 hours. Like the defenders claim, "spaceships and corps going around each other! Battling wits out for ships and trading blows so they can become kings of the universe!!! Here they go!!" WHAT?!!?!? So FUCKING misleading...the trailers of this game is so...MISLEADING it's not even funny! "Hey man, wanna go lowsec huntin for 2 hours!? Then get raped by a tech III Legion or Tengu!?" @TheJedimaster6788 actually weapons upgrades 4 only takes 1 and 3/4 days so lvl 5 should take less than a week. you are an okay pilot when you realize you are gonna die and are okay with it and try to start killing others, which is part of the game...
@drbejarjj it's hard to explain, but EVE Online is pretty much the ultimate sandbox mmo. its got a steep learning curve because its so different from other games. that's why so many people say its bad without actually playing much. in EVE, you control a ship and have entire freedom. they pretty much made a huge realistic universe and set you free in it. get rich, be a pirate, take over the universe. whatever you want

i tried this game for three month and i found it really boring.
I used to do missions, mining and planet interaction.
missions are really repetive and kind of boring. you stand still and always hit the enemy ship in the same place.
Mining is you stand still for hours.. auto attacking an asteroid.. planet is money you gain over time.
i hated the pvp because you can just go to high sec and low sec whenever you want witout a second account, you have to choose between the two :(

WOW!!!! Over all, I have to say that EVE is one of the best games I have ever played. It takes a good 2 months to get into and also has a hard learning curve. But once you get the basics and start to get going further into the game it becomes great.

@tupapiputo There is a lot of ways to get money (ISK) in EVE. Mining, Trade, Manufactoring and nother types of Industry. For Combat you have Missions, Rats (NPC) Bounties and Loot and also PVP (Players) Bounties and also Loot.
Also, different corporations do different things, if your in a corp you can get money either more easily or it could be harder depending on what your doing.
Or you can just buy Plex / GT Cards and sell it for the in-game money (ISK).

I've read through pages of comments, I read 3 times people say "Become a pirate, take over the universe".
That is INCREDIBLY misleading, the people you're up against in the game have YEARS of skill points more than you and goes against game mechanics to catch up, there is no catching up, there will be no taking over the universe, a sector even the area around your own ship is hard to keep for yourself.
Pirates life..scan for noobs, kill, rinse repeat.

I honestly ran out of things I found fun to do in the game. It is probably the most repetitive game in the industry.
There is NOTHING to do in this game that's fun for any long period of time, any video you see on here that looks fun in all reality is mostly automated by your ships and VERY RARELY happens.
Do you like flipping burgers? That's exactly what Eve-Online is like, you're the little guy rakin' in the money for some morbidly obese guy on Welfare whos played since the release.

I know where you're coming from Jedi, I stopped playing Eve after 5 months because I fully realized what I was doing... and that was WORKING after I get home from work, only this second round I'm paying someone to work for them.
Eve revolves around ISK, corporations CONTROL the game so you will either become one of their slaves, a boring pirate or just float around in the abyss. There are no linear goals in Eve, only ISK and Epeen.

This game WAS fun. But after realizing it...it really sucks. I know people will defend it and I did to, that's ok. But let's compare here....
It's a time waster. People say you can do whatever the fuck you want!? HA. Yah, like getting blasted to fucking hell when you want to go and have fun or waiting 2 months for training skills like weapon upgrades 5 to train..before you get anything good. Or wait 8 months before you are considered a ...ok pilot. This game sucks! You will see one day

I wasted one year of my life on this game...every night after work...for 6 hours. Like the defenders claim, "spaceships and corps going around each other! Battling wits out for ships and trading blows so they can become kings of the universe!!! Here they go!!" WHAT?!!?!? So FUCKING misleading...the trailers of this game is so...MISLEADING it's not even funny! "Hey man, wanna go lowsec huntin for 2 hours!? Then get raped by a tech III Legion or Tengu!?" @TheJedimaster6788 actually weapons upgrades 4 only takes 1 and 3/4 days so lvl 5 should take less than a week. you are an okay pilot when you realize you are gonna die and are okay with it and try to start killing others, which is part of the game...

@drbejarjj it's hard to explain, but EVE Online is pretty much the ultimate sandbox mmo. its got a steep learning curve because its so different from other games. that's why so many people say its bad without actually playing much. in EVE, you control a ship and have entire freedom. they pretty much made a huge realistic universe and set you free in it. get rich, be a pirate, take over the universe. whatever you want
