I havent played another sony game since they fucked SWG up. I hate that company never understood why they took a hudge steaming crap on that game. I loved the t21rifle mind shoot and put 2 rancors and 3 atst on rebel scum. good times

Myself (A Bio Engineer) My Friend (A chef) and my brother (A ranger) all left when the CU hit and SOE turned about 20 million credits worth of Vasarian Brandy/Veganerian Canape's that we'd spent months getting ready into worthless crap.

I signed up to EMU and have spent a lot of time on it. One day when the EMU server was down I decided to see what the NGE is like now.

I've got a commando to lvl 20 and I've got to say, the game play (At least the initial 20 hours playing time) is a pale comparison of what it was. (Even JTL)

Since Then, I've spent more time playing the EMU which is laggy as hell, over the NGE on the quick servers.

rofl swg has levels now?? i bought the game right when it came out and was hooked in an instant. Then about 2 yrs later it became extremely easy to become a jedi(non holos) and the cu came. that game sucks now

I played this in early 2005 and aside from some lag and bugs, I loved it. Eventually,I took it off because I was busy at the time(not to mention the money). I considered installing it again around the time NGE came out but as soon as I found out what it was, I didn't even touch the game. Such a shame. SOE... fucking twat-heads.

If you loved SWG and loved the Pre-CU days... join the swg EMU community. They are bringing back SWG to the Pre-CU days and will allow the future content to be directed by the community. dude swg is alot better, than the first week of NGE... i swear to go its worth playing now you have chapter 5 ent and trader expertise, chap 6 with beast mastery which is very challenging and fun. and with chap 7 more quests and content is being introduced, and chap 8 with ALOT more space content... come back home guys....

It was one of the richest and most customizable MMORGs going in its day. I loved it even when CU hit. NGE did it in for me though. Maybe they will realize thier mistake now that sales dropped and they lost all their vets.
