Admittedly, even with the strongest passion for classical music, I am only just beginning to delve in its depths and my ear has been exposed to comparatively little than the experts'. However, anyone can tell you executed that performance brilliantly. Even with Bach, every note was sensitively placed, with just the right amount of dynamics. My hat's off to you - it was refreshing to hear such mastery.
Saluti e buon lavoro.
Very expressively and with much soul. At some places the notes are not ideally together and partly there is much to much pedal. I didn´t listen with score, but I have to say, in summary I enjoyed it very much. I love also the fugue in f minor of WTCII. I played this pair many years ago, too.
I made a mistake in my reply above: of course, I wanted to say, "I love also the fugue f sharp minor of WTCII. I played this pair many years ago, too."
Thank you Val! I think that here 30-40% of the decent result is of the piano and of the recording. A few notes, and all sound (abaout) good, many notes, and all becomes confused and unnatural. The acoustic of the (small) room is IMHO the problem.

Even as an amateur, I know I know that much.

Thank you soltisviolin. Here the audio quality assisted my poor but (I hope) generous playing.

Sandro, once you told me that your Bach was inferior to your Scarlatti. I do not think so. This prelude was excellent. You should play Bach more.

i like bach very much and your interpretation sounds natural and emotional. it's not phoney or a maniersm and still pianistic.
please more!

Thank you stocksam, happy you found it "natural and emotional", IMHO both great qualities.....
