Um ok............. You do realize that those "European exotics" cost twice as much as a ZO6, ZR1, Ford GT etc when those cars perform just as good right? Lmao might wanna check out the C6R pretty sure its kicking your "European exotics" ass.
@DoggyB22 yea i do realize european cars cost twice as much and truthfully some of them juss its nonsense its like apple computer twice as much as a samsung when they proform the same. like the zo6 went faster around the nurburgring than a zonda F, but my point is i want the muscle expierence but with ferrari performence mixed in... i want it soo bad
@DoggyB22 Only reason GT1 was discontinued from Le Mans was because C6.R dominated it in GT1 class for 6 years in a row..... where were the Europeans then? No where :D
@EndofDays213 Just FYI, the Vette leaf springs suspend a multi-link and A-arm suspension... it's not a Hotchkiss suspension from trucks. You stupid goddamn idiot.
C6.R? Forget it! The ZR1 and Z06 have humbled just about every European exotic on the Nürburgring. Only two exotics have currently lapped the track faster: the Porsche 911 GT2 ($245,000) RS variant and the Lexus LFA ($375,000) with the spec-built Nürburgring Package. Those leaf springs and pushrods aren't looking so primitive now, are they?
Why & am I tagged? But anyway saying American cars are falling behind when the Viper ACR just RETOOK the record is retarded. & @FraAngelico729 actually the LFA Nurburgring Edition cost $450-500k. The base LFA cost that & it even couldn't beat the ACR or ZR1
@DoggyB22 Tagged you because you made a good point. Glad to see the Viper retaking the top slot for production cars. Credit where it's due; the LFA is one hot machine. I just couldn't justify to myself to spend that kind of money on a car, no matter how good it is. It really cracks me up to see yankee car haters fall back when they can't argue the performance issue anymore, especially when they don't know what they're talking about. Would LOVE to see what this Z06X can do on the 'Ring.
Oh fosho exactly why spend like $500k on the LFA NE when I could use that money & buy a ZR1, ACR, GT-R & a Ford GT. I mean go to the LFA NE ring video. The band wagons are STILL talking shit! Its a joke how retarded they are! The ZO6X would destroy the ring I'm sure of it! The Viper ACR X got 7:03
@FraAngelico729 yea man l im with you all the way ,and this yankee car haters like you call them, still have a lot more to fall back for till they get a diarrea when they get to know what i have to say , and is that not only the performance of this great cars ,a but the fact there has been a great use of this engines (small block chevy SBC)among the new supercars builders around the world exaples are:UltimaGTR,plethore lsc750,AquilaCR1racer,lamborgini indomable, senvo ST1,aero ultimate, etc
@EndofDays213 "don't you think it's bout time to leave tech behind I wouldn't even call it tech it's juss bent steel. Corvette deserves better"
You're probably under the impression that the Vette uses leaf springs all around. It has two transverse-mounted leaf springs (made of fiberglass composite, not steel) mounted between front and rear independent unequal-length double wishbone suspensions. This provides several advantages over having complete coilovers at all four corners.
@FraAngelico729 and if any one want to know about many more supercars builders around the world using SBC AND BBC GM `S LS!,LS2,LS3,LS7,,, and 572ci and 427ci BBC then here I go; KeatingTKR,Trident aceni using a duramax diesel engine,Musler MT900,MarcosTS0,barabus TKR,weineck cobra,DraggerGT,Hennessey venom GT,Hulme CanAm,Mach 7 falcon,Fenix super car,Arash AF10,Factory Five racing,RCR LS-Cupe,Aspira F620, so to me there ainnt no better than chevy my friends no matter what you say .
@IssaBendeck1 Wow. Quite a list! Enough to make a believer of any doubter out there. Except maybe for those bedwetting haters who can't stand the fact that American craftsmanship is respected by those who know what they're talking about. Nice job.
Don't forget to mention its the #1 car engine swap in other type of vehicles not just cars... Jeeps, Boats, Planes, etc. Along with just making engine swaps in regular cars. I've seen anything from a LSX Civic, WRX, Mustang, S2000, Nissan 240, Miata, RX7, List goes on & on.... Whenever someone talks about doing an better engine swap & has the space they think about a LSX. Anyone that denies that FACT is just a true hater.
@EndofDays213 This set up provides the same anti-roll effect as a complete coilover assembly but weighs less, costs less, and is less complex. They're also more durable than coils, add less unsprung weight, and gives the car a lower overall center of gravity, allowing it to tear up tracks like the Nürburgring. You guys are all hung up on high tech. If it's more complex, it MUST be better. GM's been building cars for over 100 years. I'm pretty sure their engineers know what they're doing.
@EndofDays213 It's also pretty hard to argue with the facts. The C5.R and C6.R have beaten the world's best at Le Mans and elsewhere. Now the Z06 and ZR1 are matching and beating high-tech exotics around world-class test tracks like the Nürburgring. Not convinced? You name the venue. Motegi. Hungaroring. Mosport. São Paulo. Goodwood. Bring 'em on! Laugh all you want. We'll be crying all the way to the top of the winner's podium.
Make the corvette stingray concept pleeeassse!!! Idk how many exclamation marks do I need to make you build it. The one based on the 1959 stingray the one that came out in transformers
Well yea obviously...... I mean that's pretty much the reason why every car company makes cars is to compete with the rest? Ford vs Chevy Mustang vs Camaro have been going at it for years. It makes for a better car & keeps people interested in the scene. The Z28 should come soon "hopefully" for a track/street car to compete with the Boss 302
@Heezy2090 Competition is good for everyone. Just look at Mustang, Ford had to make a new higher HP engine to compete with Chevy and Dodge. I'm loving the Z06X It's about time GM started having some creativity.
I hope GM would make a track inspired camaro. Ford is releasing a Boss Mustang that is track inspired with a rear seat delete with a cross bar inplace. But im gonna forget all about this when the Z28 comes out :-D
Same.... They need to offer a street legal Camaro but also something that is more race inspired that you can take to the track & destroy cars. & please be LIGHT
my boss got a corvette z06x only for make lapping i see her and that a incedible carthis car is illegal in the street

If they went to Production the Camaro would've done 7:20's Nurburgring and the Zo6 would've done like 6:50's or lower.
