Thanks, I find this a simple pattern to tie and is VERY good fly for early season just afer ice off.

As for the coating, no, I don;t find that it turns white. I have found that some of the coating do, but there are two that I find work GREAT. One is the Locktite super glue shown in this video, even better is the super glue used by women for attaching fake nails, works GREAT with NO discoloration.
