  • Question: how did you mount the center pieces without having holes drilled through them?? i'm thinking of making one of these.

  • yo, i'm making one right now out of Pewter for my Metal Art 11 class.... they are solid cubies and it ways a ton even though i'm not finished yet....

i had started making once out of wood using a dremel tool (spelling???...rotary tool) to carve, but they weren't coming out very square, so i thought to make one out of metal....now i might try your way...all you have to do is add that corner piece and then dremel out the other parts.....plus add stuff to the edge pieces

  • I came up with this idea a couple days ago and decided to look up if someone else had already done it. Nice job. I hope mine turns out as well are yours. What are the tabs that hold the dice in place made out of? Are they cut off an original cube or did you make them yourself out of something?

  • Yes they are cut from an original Rubik's cube.

  • would you sel this cube to me?

  • It's already been sold on ebay. I'd be glad to make you one. How much is it worth to you?

  • hey dice man whats up i play TribalWars with ur wife....

  • Really neat

  • maybe if you used a transparent DIY you wouldn't get the dark color seen through the dice, just my 2 cents, again great job

  • Good idea, I've thought of that for slim towers with a transparent keychain cube core and transparent outer cubes also, but never considered it for the dice cube.

  • Whoa, cool. I thought it was just going to be a magnetic cube. nice job.
