@ksyse I feel like my generation has no resolve. We should be rioting much harder than the rest of the world, especially Greece. Our country has allowed corporations (Walmart, et al) to trade our economy to China in return for cheap toys. We've given what's left to US and Euro banks. The US is blinded by entertainment. That is the only difference.

a) usa got 300 million inhabitants. do you really think that there are 150+ million cops in the US?
b) its not about military strengh. A country needs intact infrastructure to work. if the people stand up & riot and do general-strikes, a government automatically collapses. no need to have more weapons or force, its about breaking down the flow of traffic, factorys and transport of resources. they need the people to rule them.

France has a very low tolerance for this kind of stuff. They already had some riots. Every country has a different threshold. It's just a matter of time.
My only fear is that...once you get rid of the corrupt people who have screwed us over....do you just go back to the same system? You can't. It'll just bring about the same results. We need a new system. Let's try something that addresses the root of the problem.
