tech had potts in this game because sheffield had a hurt ankle.. potts threw 2 interceptions and fumbled the ball.. thats what happened. and i gurantee you. if tech had sheffield against texas it would have been a lot better of a game.

We did not hit Jerod Johnson hard one single time, he picked up any 3 and long just by looking off his receivers down field and running it. Potts may have lost his job for good at Tech. Sheffield who made his first career start at kansas state, and then nebraska is still injured. We benched Potts in the 3rd for a freshmen QB Seth Doedge. Sheffield is still out so looks like Doedge will start
Next week vs. Kansas also. Granted we played with a short side of the field and had 5 turnovers, to A&M's 1, but our defense just wasn't into it. They hit us in the mouth just running the ball up the middle with Johnson an Grey. D-Line has been our Achilles heel all year since Williams, and Dixon left early for the draft. I will give the "Sheffield-Potts crap." Potts played until his 3rd turnover...douge... a no-name came in and led us to 2 straight td's....regardless we lost and credit goes to A&M. And don't think their not capable of sneaking up on the horns Cowboy. this is the first time the horns played like this all season. who knows if that'll ever show up again. If the aggies play like they did tonight, or Jarrod Johnson does, then look out horns b/c they played Solid.

How is that an excuse. I said "CREDIT GOES TO A&M." Your'e not a bad talker but maybe you need to work on reading. look, we expected to dominate this game, and understand that it was a "gimme". It didn't happen and that sucks but that is football. And we're not bitchin about getting no respect. RESPECT IS EARNED. And guess what, I was at the game and can tell you what happened. They called a cadre of penalties and not cuz "the refs suck". its b/c we did a SLOPPY job.

Yes Sir. GO CYCLONES. ive said is a couple weeks ago and ill say it again. 1 or 2 more years and IOWA STATE will be giving headaches not only to the north, but to all teams in the big12. Im not being cocky cause obviously we are a nobody in comparison to texas, but im so proud of my team right now. I wasnt even close to being born the last time we beat Nebraska at Nebraska wich BTW was 1977!!! Anyways good luck to Texas. YOU GUYS HAVE THE BEST TEAM IN ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!

I really gotta comment on the Potts/Sheffield thing, because I don't think you know just how much of a big deal it is. Losing Sheffield killed all the momentum TTU had built up over the past 3 games, and everyone basically went, "Oh, it's Potts again. Woo."
Potts doesn't have "it," whatever it is. Harrell had it last year. Sheffield has it this year. Potts doesn't. The crowd's dead when he plays. Even Doege got a better crowd reaction.
That being said, Tech sucked hard tonight. It was painful.

Great game ! and did you hear them talking about McCoy and Shiply's little brothers playing each other yesterday and how Case McCoy goes to Grahm and Jaxon Shiply goes to Brownwood? I live and Brownwood and Dang that was a great game! Longoria blocked the extra point with 2 seconds left and we win on Homecoming and Shiply beats McCoy haha Go Lions!Go Longhorns!

They cut that game off in the third quarter and switched over to USC vs Oregon State where I'm at. God Missouri...the whole North is pathetic.
