The reactors are going to meltdown and thousand of tons of radioactive substances are going to reach the atmosphere.Millions of people are threatened. Depending on how strong the radiation is, the affected people will all excruating die sooner or faster due Leukemia or whatever. Not to mentioned the Tsunami/earthquake.The survivors lost their home,family,friends.

Looks like a big steam explosion. The rods might be exposed now. Full meltdown will happen if they can't keep the water flow on the reactor. All that steam is radioactive. Japanese nearby been told to stay in and not to drink the tap water. Let's hope for a good outcome.

Strap on kids, get ready for some nuclear winter, rain, food etc. How is this safe ? Suddenly we got all these scientists saying nuclear power plants are much safer now, except when there is a fire hazard or you don't have power to shut it down, or an earthquake hits it, or the shut down button doesn't wanna budge. Am I saying something crazy here, or safe is just a measure of how luck you are, is it safe like crossing a street, hoping cars don't hit you, that kinda safe. I don't get it.

That was the reactor exploding. Possible meltdown. They didnt seem to have a chance at stopping the meltdown....then they had an explosion. So it is pretty possible
