The recovery is lauded by the corporate media because by driving workers out business is running at its bare bones and is starting to profit. What we see is that for Capitalism to be profitable it no longer needs the workers who need an income. The crisis is a classic result of the basic contradiction that we produce socially but wealth is appropriated privately. Wealth is not put back into advancing the real economy so it collapes on the working classes back. Revolution is the only solution.

The reason this is happening is because there's a myth that the only real jobs are private sector jobs. That's why they don't propose another WPA. They unemployment rates are much higher...depending on which unbiased researcher and economist you speak with, the rate of unemployment is probably 20-25 percent....which means we are not in a recession....but a depression.
