Green terrors are just bullies until someone fights back. Lol I have one too and he got messed up by a smaller Jack Dempsey. They're aggressive, but they lack mouth size and teeth for battle. As far as FH's go, they're overly aggressive. At least mine was. He kills any other fish in his tank and eats their eyes for some reason, even plecos.

That is the Known variety of Green Terror, there is another variety that lives only in Peru coast, is the same fish but the difference is Color: the orange lines in fins are white, this natural variety is more beauty than the known variety. I think you'll find your wrong there actually. I have kept and bred oscars and the adults have a potential size of 12 - 18 inches and they are aggressive Carnivores, pellets will keep them going but they need chunky fish based protein.

The tank is undersized and could use a more aesthetically pleasing set up(I for one HATE tanks with no substrate) but it is certainly not out of the ordinary to see those fish living in relative peace besides the obligatory scuffle here or there. My current set up of 125 gallons with adult firemouths and blood parrots along with reedfish, birchirs and bala sharks is very peaceful besides the constant showmanship and sparring between the two dominant males.

The oscars are a breeding pair, they clear the rocks over to the side...so there is a substrate...if you put the rocks back they clear them in a day.

Hey I have a jack dempsey, green severum, gold severum, blue texas, Nicaraguanese, bumblebee, red zebra and a cobalt all in a 75 gallon and the ph is about 8.4 and the hardness is like 300 same with alkalinity and all of them are fine. I think ph doesnt matter as much as people say it does, as long as its constant and doesn't shock them with change they seem fine. I also have another tank with discus and rams with the same water levels and the rams are breeding.

I already had the damn fish in a 29gal by itself for over a year. She didn't swim around or eat much, kinda like she was neglected. Now in this 75gal she eats like a pig, and swims all over the tank. My GreenTerror picked the fight. My other fish can stick up for themselves, otherwise I would separate them. My FH can't get the bold colours you expect. Certainly not from isolation methods. But as you said, my fish.."hehe..lol"

It's not even a real flowerhorn dude. It's the offspring of two actual flowerhorns. Which are crossbreeds themselves. The food i feed them is the best shit i can find(OmegaOne), and shes in a fight so her colours are very dark here. She's not weak, my green terror is just nuts. I had my F.H. in a 29gal. for a long time by herself. This tank is much better for her. Trust me.
