I love the concept of this song. So experimental. One sentence : "You may think you're in heaven" . So you close your eyes during all the song, and at the end you come back to the real life when Jay Kay is saying "destitute illusions, right before your eyes". It's an instrumental without lyrics but with sentences, which are describing the song, like a caption is describing a picture. That's just f***ing genius(supersonic also is really innovative).
This jam always reminds me of driving to Vegas on the weekend getaway. I've been loving Jamiroquai music since '94 when I first heard his music while I was in the military stationed in Italy.
@immediately3000 na let the artist take the "certain substances" and then let him take you to "another planet" with his music/ art instead. its safer and lasts longer!!!
Trippy, fantastic video that describes the song perfectly. I didn't actually get the song until I saw this visual for it. Now I think it might have an entirely different meaning than what I thought it meant before (obviously someone is high here... lol). Brings a whole new meaning to "double vision"! This song took some time to grow on me when I first heard it 10 years ago. I love it now though.
may be you were young and dumb and you thought it sounds too "gay" at this time but secretly love it. Now you are wise and older, electro sounds are everywhere and this is a good one.
This song is a tribute for DJ D-Zire who was very underrated at the gigs, but his role was very important for the identity of the band, like Wallis Buchanan.
Experimental song but Funky, and that's how Jamiroquai have to create new songs.
Great work none the less and to the 11 year old fan of jamiroquai, have you checked out his earlier works? Nice to know some youngsters are still in tune with real music.
well i mean, i love jamiroquai, BUT im only 19 , i was braught ip listening to jakay from my parents, i dont like know all the band members ect, ive seen em live once at the nia arena but i know all the songs, ect but i mean the band is awesome but the songs are just sheer soul going through the ears ,everythings perfect XD what aout you then ? p.s. and i like jaykays hats lol

If you believed in certain substances and listened to this at the same time, I'm sure you'd journey to another planet.
