Disagree. School is only required up to the end of junior high in Japan. Considering that high school starts around the age of 14, the fact that students can consent to not going to high school before they turn 14 proves that the age of consent is 13. If you were right, then all Japanese would be required by law to attend school until they were 16, which is simply not true.
