well i must say mmmmmm awesome. i really wish you guys would come to Philadelphia pa . i 've seen a lot of bands and i think your band might really have it right, zeppelinpa@yahoo.com be a friend thanks
check out get the led out and also check out randy jackson from zebra he does the music of led zeppelin backed with a live band and orchrastra both are awsome and both are on youtube for you to check out.
I wanted to hear a good song, so I clicked on this video and walked out of the room for a minute. I started thinking, "Wow Robert Plant sure can sing." But then as I re-entered the room I noticed that it wasn't Robert. D'oh! I had no idea this was a cover.... amazing freaking vocals and musicianship. Way to freaking go!!
Wow!! I clicked on the video and walked out of the room for a minute... just needed a good tune. I'm like "Wow Robert Plant sure can sing." Then I looked closer at the video as i re-entered the room. I had no idea this was a cover band... way to freaking go!!! Amazing cover!!
Okay, this is the first Led Zeppelin coverband I ever thought actually GOT IT. It's really hard to even approximate Robert Plan't stunning, otherworldly voice (in his prime especially), and though no one can ever be him, this singer came as close (in capability anyway) as anyone I've ever heard.
What the hell's wrong with that crowd though? They're not even head-bobbing! They're just freaking standing there!
Snuck in to your gig at the Grey Horse in Kingston couple months back. If they allowed under 18's i would have been happy to pay I.O.U £8! Lads your well good. Hear your working at o2 as security now? why? Keep the gigs going!
kashmir is my favorite song right now, simple and good. this tribute band makes me allmost forget that Led Zeppelin ceased to exist in 1980... great performance guys!
The singer is probably the best because he sounds sooo close to robert plant. The guitarist would look more like page if his guitar was lower and if he played right handed, but u can't do anything about that.
probably the catchiest guitar riff ever, and yad never come up with it without messing around with different guitar tunings , its easy to play only if ya tune the guitar to jimmys famous tuning.
The cover is great and the singer's voice is incredibly similar to plant's. 5/5 my only recomendation is to improve the keyboard parts because there are some unison parts that would sound better with some horns or somrthing like that playing in different octaves like the original song but consider it only as an extra because the song is really fuckin guitar driven!
Absolutely magnificent! It doesn't get any better than that. I would pay seriously good money to see you guys. My local venue is The Point - Cardiff Bay - pleeeeese come & play there!!
Just had the best tribute for BOOT LED ZEPPELIN. I went to O2 last night and took a few pictures outside the arena; I then made a short - 30 second - montage of the photos and backed it with 'Bring it on home' from Boot Led Zep and posted it on YouTube. Imagine my surprise when YouTube took the video down - presumably - they thought the soundtrack to be Led Zepp!!!
Also lol... I'm saying this as a long time hardcore zeppelin fan... but this isn't "sloppy" by any means.. it's MUCH tighter then Zeppelin themselves ever sounded live... and I've heard my share of live zeppelin material.
Well.. let me first say that I'm really cruel and harsh on tribute bands lol.. this was fantastic. I'd pay to see these guys. If I had to nitpick.. I don't much care for the synth sound... but I love the fact that Jimmy is a lefty like me X-) Altho thats more like the Les Paul he currently uses.. rather then the Dano he always used on Kashmir. Thing is it sounds great anyway.. so who cares. :-)
Hi, Thanks for the comments! I agree with you on a lot of tributes being crap. I've paid a lot of money and been very disappointed, which is why we try to get it right. This vid is over 3 years old now and we now use the Danelectro. The synth sound is the best copy of JPJ's Mellotron we could find. The synth JPJ used in'77 '79 and '80 IMHO sounds terrible so we went for the "75/album sound instead.
really he did originally use the les paul for Kashmir and he always used it on the 1975 tour. when zepp played kashmir together whit whitesummer/black.. he did use the danelectro meaning he used it 1977 '79 and '80. also i don't understund why he can't use the paul even if page didn't use it.. well just my opinion, i don't like when tribute bands copy the original exactly. But this i like!!! A very good version!! And respect for your drummer!! (and singer, guitarist bassplayer, keybordist :) )
fucking good

Maybe it's just me but, it looks edited....the music and guitar playing, especially at the end, doesnt match. Other than that, it's great!
