I've seen him here in Vancouver solo and with Crowded House, but I didn't really spend any time looking for a Neil-loving soulmate. LOL. Who knows when he'll be here again. I may be going to New Zealand in October 2011, so I'll keep up to date on his schedule. Maybe she's there.

Why couldn't any of my ex-girlfriends appreciate Neil the way I appreciate Neil? The only one who ever really knew how good Neil is had a father who wrote and played music. Her father thought Neil was pretty much without equal when it came to creating music.

Neil Finn is one of the greatest song writers ever. Period. From amazing lyrics to beautiful arrangements. IM just thankful for all of his music. But I want more. :-)

I just listened to that Coldplay song that someone below claimed was "the same tune", and it's not even close. The chords, the melody, and the lyrical rhythm are all totally different. The ONLY similarity is that it's also a piano-and-voice performance.

Now, if you want to compare the intro to this song to the intro to "High School Confidential" by Rough Trade, well... ;)
