  • awwwwwwwwwh :D

  • I am sick and tired of nasty comments about Yoko...

  • octupus' garden - starr/harrison

  • Yoko...that creepy clingy girlfriend

  • The friendship between George and Ringo is SOOO AWESOME!!! The "oldest and the youngest" special bond!!!

  • The Beatles were prophets. If you want to learn how to perceive the hidden meanings in their songs, go to TruthContest (dot) com and open The Present, then read up to the section about The Beatles. Show this to every Beatles fan you know.

  • OMG I love George face,he is cute,I miss him

  • @FlowerChild794 John invited her.

  • heather is so cute:)

  • Oh, this is the stuff I like!! May we have some more please? LOL, listen to John at the very end? I want to hear the rest...? C'mon, who's holdin out? R.S. ,piano too?! All right Ringo, is there a book? I'd love to read your story.

  • @RoxxHoffner Actually, it's interesting - none of them have true autobiographies. George's I Me Mine comes the closest, although it's not really an autobiography. I suppose Paul and Ringo haven't written one because they consider Anthology their story. That's appropriate, in a way, I think.

  • Aah, John said "Hello Heather." This is a great video! Of course Octopus's Garden wasn't recorded & released until later on Abbey Road album.

  • george and ringo in action!

  • Sem comentários.

  • @ensoniq57 популярность wiil beatles всегда поражают me.their музыка всегда будет классика

  • i love how every once in a while in practice they switch up instruments just fer fun.

  • i think they stopped playin when paul came in cuz they were talkin with him not like u can really hear talking too much when playimg drums piano & guitar

  • I love this old footage, I wish they had documented more casual stuff like this.

  • @walrusgh If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is from the movie, Let It Be ...which was basically a series of rehearsal, studio sessions, as well as the recording of the album. It all culminates in that absolutely wonderful rooftop concert on the top of Apple Studios. If you can get a copy of Let It Be, it's a great thing to have. There's some bickering between George and Paul, nonetheless, it's a great piece of Beatles History.

  • Who was the little child? Little child, little child, little child won't you dance with. I got so sad and lonely, please take a chance on me.

  • @imaranca1 I believe that is Heather, Linda's little girl. I think......not %100 sure.

  • @walrusgh Yes, it is and John says "Hello Heather" to her at the very end.

  • @njriley59

And she shows him a pic she drew, AWWW, she's so adorable.

  • can you believe ringo gets credit in the wiki for writing this song? george all but puts it into tableture for the toddler.what a mensch.

  • ringo adores george more because he's the smallest one in the beatles

  • @bAbyDin0sauris Actually Ringo's the oldest and George's the youngest

  • @drrobertoboogie97 thats what i said ringo adores george more

  • At 3:24 there is a piano riff that sounds a lot like a song Paul later did called C Moon. Which is weird because it's Ringo playing the piano here. Unless Paul banged it out. The camera wasn't on the piano at the time.

  • cool to see how it was so different when it started, different lyrics, key, order, even different middle 8 sorta thing. Fascinating stuff

  • The reason Ringo stands as one of the best drummers of the era was the fact that he was ROCK SOLID at ANYTHING he laid down. Ringo was not known for "screwing up" a beat. Any beat you asked of him, he could give it to you right then and there no questions asked.

  • looks like yoko is gonna give john a blow job at the drums at 230-245

  • watch?v=46CNp89_52Y

  • I've heard, and it could be wrong, that this is George Harrison's favorite Beatles song. There certainly is a magic in this footage of friends creating and encouraging each other. It even makes me tear up a bit because of the joy of it.

Oh and I absolutely adore Harrison's solo on the recorded version. This all just goes to show that Lennon/McCartney were only half of The Beatles equation.

  • Final product was much different, so interesting to see the development of the song

  • actually one of the best Beatle songs.

  • yoko ono reminds me of a tick

  • I wish The Beatles stayed young & sexy forever :(

  • @JadeMaraleigh PAUL IS STILL FUCKING SEXY

  • who is the kid ? is it julian ?

  • the boss is coming in at 3.04

  • gentlemen ,really nice guy george,i look so simple and down on earth.

  • Comment removed

  • Genius at work here people. We're so lucky we have this footage, it's golden.

  • 1:55 George is embarased of the lyrics when George Martin comes in.

  • AAWWWWW.... this video made me happy. love when george is smiling @ the other guy (george martin?) when ringo's singing.

  • @awrangerfan24 Yeah, that's George Martin. And I agree, this video is adorable. Just goes to show how the dynamics were at that point.

  • @awrangerfan24 George Harrison was smilling sarcastically towards George Martin.

  • @LSweet2007 Aww I don't think it was sarcastic. It was more like "isn't it cute that ringo wrote this song?" Although he was the only one helping Ringo write it ... George was sweet.

  • @awrangerfan24 yeah thats good ole George Martin.

  • Sean Lennon was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky to end up in John Lennon

  • waohhh, k forma tan impresionante tenian de componer, era genios no cabe dudaa grande the beatlesss, los numero 1 de siempre forever beatles

  • Aww, they're so cute. What song is George singing that has "put your little arms around me" and "charm me" in it? Is it a segment of a real song serving as a filler while creating Octopus's Garden, or is it some George song that never was. I tried searching for it, but could find nothing. Whatever it is, it's very pretty.

  • i like more this version

  • by listening 2 beatles music i encouraged myself 2 learn a guitar

  • @hishamp3 you should, it is a wonderful instrument to play

  • Rock and Roll está no nível de música clássica. Não deve nunca ser comparada com música comercial. Rock and Roll está anos luz a frente.

  • ugh, why do i keep seeing immature arguements on beatles videos? the beatles represented everything but hatred... come on now & give some respect to the music!

  • ugh, why do i keep seeing immature arguements on beatles videos? the beatles represented everything but hatred... come on now & give some respect to the music!

  • that was john lennon on drums. ringo is singing and playing piano. do you know anything about the beatles?

  • @inglewoodjacks my bad, wasn't paying much attention to the video just listening to audio whilst doing other things. ringo was a poor drummer for a massive band like the Beatles ask most drummers who will asses him as a drummer and not some one who was in a massive band and they will tell you he is not all that good :(

  • @DJLEE12345 quit spreading falsehoods you ignorant know-nothing ass!

  • @hydeparkhobo just being honest and who's being the child by using kid language, grow up and smell the coffee

  • ringo starr was a drummer that got very lucky with an amazing band, he is shocking on drums i dont know how he gets away with it. you can here it in this clip his timing is all over the place :(

  • @DJLEE12345 I think your mistaking john for ringo there.

  • @DJLEE12345 YOU ARE A MENTAL PATIENT. JOHN IS PLAYING DRUMS. RINGO IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE GREATEST DRUMMER OF THE SIXTIES.

  • @hydeparkhobo are you being serious ringo was the best drummer ahahaha if he was then well they all must of been diabolical

  • @hydeparkhobo well no keith moon was probably the best in the 60s or very close he used the drum kit inside out not ringos boring boom tish boom tish for ever and ever and wow he did a mini fill at the speed of a snail know before making a stupid comment like that get the facts right and stop jumping on the beatles bandwagon just because there big they cant have faults in any way no ? if thats true well i say no more.

  • @hydeparkhobo

    ONE of the greatest drummer?

NO. Forget the one. He was the greatest drummer of the 60s.

  • The guys scrapped from teens, and worked it out, mutual respect. Paul/John pushed each other, some jealousy, it was good competition. John was not as sure of himself and his ego a little more brittle. I don't believe John and Yoko was a beautiful love story, I think it was a stalking leach feeding off John's insecurities and pushing a wedge into the band. Weirds me out seeing the leach following him everywhere. They would have done there own stuff, she was the catalyst for bad feelings though.

  • great piece of footage, enjoyed it.

  • @Ruberioo hah i love it mate but cmon forget all that just pick up a guitar instead. ;)

think of all the more tunes you could have learned by now!

  • @Ruberioo The only problem with that list is that queen sucks

  • @Yourmomathon then wtf are u doin here?

  • @Ruberioo listening to the beatles man

  • @Yourmomathon if queen is code word for lady gaga, I'm with u...

  • @Ruberioo

You say all that, I say STFU!

    Stop advertising for them...

  • @TheMicasa99 everyday the radio is advertising this mainstream crap, so stfu and go listen to your precious lady gaga....

  • @Ruberioo i hate lady gaga so try again. and hate mainstream music, i appreciate good music i like the Beatles but don't agree with some 1 saying he was one of the best in the 60s ringo wtf.

  • @DJLEE12345 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's were the only years i think are the best when it comes to music, so i agree, the 60's wasnt all......

  • @Ruberioo

all great great great bands u like. =)

  • @Ruberioo who are Taylor Swift and Owl City? ohohohohohohohhhh

  • @Ruberioo Well said, rock and roll is a lifestyle and an attitude. the Beatles incorporated it masterfully.

  • dang.. george school ringo...

  • George's grin at 1:48 is just priceless.

  • Thank God the Beatles did not have to suffer out the smoking bans of today. I know John would of never accepted it!

(Come to think of it? I DON'T EITHER!)

  • @Godzie1 Smoking killed george

  • @Koolkitties Really? First I heard of that? I thought cancer did? Cancer strikes anyone at any age. So if he got cancer, It's sad but ment to be. So shut-up about smoking when we have real problems like 2012.

  • DONT you dare underestimate Mr Strakey!

  • In other words George wrote the music

  • Interesting. a little song-writing help from george.

  • @zyxquark A little too much. If George hadn't been a great friend he should have apeared on the credits. Same thing happened with Ringo's solo hit "it don't come easy".

  • They were working to give us the best music ever!

  • Haha! I love how Paul looks here! XD Complete with beard and the coat!

  • @TheJesterGirl And when he walks into the studio and it's like, "all right, Paul's here, guys. Stop having fun."

  • haha, i love how george and ringo are rocking out, then john plays drums and everyone's happy! THEN paul walks in. SILENCE.

  • interesting thanks for the upload

  • That's so real to see two friends rehearsing a new song, like thousands of us right now in a simple room, fourty years after, still looking at the new single chart!

Here are George and Ringo, and Octopus's Garden is not the worst song ever made!

  • What a dense atmosphere ! that´s not The Beatles. I like this album but I prefer not to see those videos

  • Paul looks extremely bossy in this.

  • I just watched this video for the hundredth time and I STILL love it :)

  • The idea that Yoko broke up the Beatles has little to do with why they broke up and a whole lot more to do with racism - people couldn't cope with this strange Japanese woman being with John.

  • @clumpft I don't think it had to do with racism. Maybe her being Japanese was different, but I doubt it was about being prejudice. Yoko was quite a strange character who had a big influence on John plus a lot of other factors about her that created that negative vibe amongst them.

  • awwwe,beatlekid shes so cute,

  • lol wow i love how it got quiet when Paul came in...

  • WARNING! 7 days after watching this video Yoko will crawl out of your computer screen and kill you. You have been warned.

  • thanks for posting this vid. very fine indeed.

  • For me they always will be the little kids from Liverpool that change the music, the people and the world

  • .... and this is why i love george. seemed like such a sweet guy.

  • This song is actually about a Greek Island they almost bought!

  • songs in Cmaj i just realized :D

  • EL TALENTO NO SE IMPROVISA. LO MAXIMO

  • George Martin is listening in on the lefthand side. :-)

  • where is video this from? let it be movie?

  • @LordEizen I dont think so..I berleive this is OUT TAKE footage from what became the let it be movie..it is rare.

  • @DavelovesRealMusic wow... but i always ask myslef, how do people get this stuff???

  • i'd love him to read me a story HAHA. He has one of them reading voices

  • good thing they didn't go with John's snare beat. that sounded pretty bad.

  • Doesnt it just makes you warm inside at the beginning when George helps Ringo with the song, and when they are jamming with John and just have a blast. Then what happens?:/

  • Octopus's garden making of! C'est énorme!

  • yokos johns DOG!! she follows him everywhere. ENOUGH!!

  • ringo n george = fucking greatness right there.....shame their bandmates were even better.....unbelievable!--....;-D

  • I knew he played some but never realized Ringo was such a proficient pianist.

  • Ringo and George never got the recognition that Paul and John got

They did'nt write as many songs as them

but the songs they have written are all really lovely

The Beatles are all incredibly talented songwriters, musicians and singers

  • @MissHelloha90 I for myself love Ringo the most. They're all amazingly...amazing!

  • @MissHelloha90 I for myself love Ringo the most. They're all amazingly...amazing!

  • @MissHelloha90 actually by the time The Beatles broke up George had written over 200 songs but Paul and John said it wasn't his time and basically gave him a few spots for his songs on the albums, they are a great band, they a ll had great solo career's but while the band was together John and Paul were the main decider's on who's songs got on albums and whatnot

  • @MissHelloha90 yoko could have said "no" in regards to being in the studio with the Beatles ..wonder how John would have coped with that ?? george is one of the "beautiful " people !

  • @MissHelloha90 This is so great - the further extension of the Beatles writing team - Harrison & Starkey! Tell me this was not the greatest modern band of all time!

  • @MissHelloha90 George wrote loads of songs, but the fuckers didn't let him put them in the album. For that reason George's first solo album had three vinyls.

  • @Koolkitties Yes, George exploded when he left the Beatles. His best material was the first album after the Beatles spared.

  • @MissHelloha90 just say the best in the world :P

  • that litlle kid is Heather ???

  • @marietittaa Yes, that's heather. She's now 47!

  • look at that friggin useless looser Yoko, riding on Johns coat tails. Man she was such a parasite with the nerve to express an opinion on the music!??? with what credtials??? what had she done what had she accomplish except being the life support for the pussy that John was banging. Friggin eternal looser and shit head Yoko!

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, that is called the "Harrison/Starr Magic"

  • whiskey on the piano?

  • Aw.. John says "hello heather" at the end. And so does Yoko. Sweeeetnesss

  • This is very precious stuff humanoidboogie. Thanks for posting.

  • i like the original lyrics it would be nice in paradise

  • @GONZbulldogsfan

And again. My statement is purely opinion, there's brother 100 other arguments that could counter my opinion, and that's fine. I just don't like Yoko at all.

  • lol their first version of octopus' garden was

    "and it would be nice

    paradise"

  • John had always stuck to Yoko, she looks like a mussel!

  • DON'T HATE ON YOKO FOOL

  • what are the notes ringo and george play on the piano?

  • GEORGE R THE BEST!!!

  • The birth of the Octopus!

  • aww! they're adorable...<3

  • Gorgeous George! When he smiles my heart melts, since 1964!

  • George can be my music teacher anytime! and Ringo can be my classmate.

  • I'm tired of people saying Yoko were the soul reason of the break up! The beatles were growing further apart since the White Album. Paul released a friggin solo album when the were working on Abby Road. They all started to just get fed up with each other and it was going to happen eventually. Shit, I wish I had a love as deep and pure as John and Yoko did.

  • When the Beatles split, the Lennon/McCartney spell was broken, and neither musician wrote anything of any use from 1970 onwards.

  • @bluebus270 Jenny Ren

  • @bluebus270 Imagine, Live and Let Die

  • @bluebus270 lolwut? How do you exist?

  • @bluebus270 ha ha ha ha ha,more please,you are a tonic,ha ha ha

  • people wonde why the beatles where so good well it helps them that they could any instrument as good as anyone i mean jesus how good is george on piano

  • George was the guitar master!! You don't see john tearin up them solo's do you!! Harrison was the beatles. Peace and love.

  • Yoko Ono just following around like a black labrador

  • George is the thrue autor.....

  • John loved YOKO. so on behalf of one of my heroes

    FUCK YOU

  • Goddamn Yoko was a curse, a cancer.. It annoys me so much when some chicks don't realize they are not wanted nor needed in a room.

  • ringo with the coolest moustache of the band.

  • @thebeatlesfanfab4 I AGREE!!!!!!!!!

  • WHAT DOES PAUL SAYS ??

  • Lennon admitted in interviews during the 70s that he insisted Yoko stick by his side, even when he went to the loo. Because he was afraid of the other group members seducing her, or any other man for that matter. So lay off of Yoko, who watched her husband shot to death and bravely raised Sean as a single mom harangued in public by idiots saying she killed the Beatles.

John's legendary self-admitted jealousy re: Yoko is why you see her in the studio/ John insisted either she stays, or I go

  • john and yoko where sweathearts. paul and rich get very offended when people ask if it was yokos fault. they thought of yoko as another new member of the band... for john

  • @Noise789 It's kinda creepy when you watch this video. John can't even walk over to another part of the room w/o her following him. I get that they were in love but come on. It's an oversimplification to say that she broke up the band but her off-putting behavior must have added to the tension to say the least.

  • @atrios28 i know seriously bro

    I agree with you 100%

Dude That is such a fucking good speech

you need to say that on TV

Not only to teach them that its not yokos fault the beatles broke up

but to get more people to say

omg i forgot all about the beatles im gonna go listen to them right now :)

  • @atrios28 There's ALOT of ppl with worst lives than Yoko's and Shaun...

    Probably Julian's...with NO present father

  • @atrios28 Yeah, like I'd want to seduce Medusa!

  • @atrios28 I honestly don't think he would have
