I'm talking about cutting his limbs and letting him burn alive. Once Anakin was beaten he could have shown a little mercy to him and tried to help him, but he just stood there watching and shouting at him.

He says ''I don't remember owning a droid'' and he doesn't say ''I didn't own him but i remeber this R2 unit, because it was very near me for a long time, I even talked to it several times calling him R2, and c3po was there too''.

Obi-Wan thought Anakin was 'lost' to the dark side. He thought that he had no choice but to kill him and couldn't bring himself to do that... which was a lot more painful for Anakin, yes. And you should remember that Obi-Wan loved Anakin as a brother, believed that he was the Chosen One... he was nearly living just for Anakin. It was a hard time for him too :P

And he has such a very bad memory: he didn't remember R2 and he didn't remember being called Obi-Wan for a long time before Luke was born...

What are you talking about? What did he do to Anakin? He had no choice but to defeat him, he did remember R2 by the way. Watch episode IV when Luke introduces R2-D2 Ben gives that "brings back memories" look that he gives a few other times in the movie.
