  • i've got a question...

can iÍ usw the cdj 800 mk1 withe timecodes, for traktor...?!

    if i can, how...?!

sry for my english....greetings from germany

  • Are you the guy selling them on ebay? because this is the link for a demo given?

  • holy crap thats some scratching

  • Is that a cdj 800 Mk1 or CDJ 800 Mk2 ?

  • @Tobifinch there the mk1s man

  • doe sthis haev a bmp counter?

  • yep

  • i love it do u recomend this over the c.324

  • yeh, although in all fairness i haven't used the c.324. but if you want to get used to industry standard decks, then this is your cheapest option

  • It's good for scratching but it sounds a bit fake, unfortunately.

I'm sure they'll find technology to make it more realistic, but even then it will never be as good as Vinyl, as cool as CDJs are.

  • thats what they said about midi keyboards with software compared to a real piano. its hard to tell now in fact the top quality one sounds just like the most expensive piano ever. so yea, cdjs will all have vinyll sound at some point (some already do)

  • "wow! look what i found under the christmas tree!"

    2:00--sweet!

  • whats the name of the track from 1:00 - 1:30 ?, its really nice .:) cheers

  • little question:

y does everyone move the crossfader when they scratch

  • Not everyone does this. It is merely the type of scratching you do - If you want to a Stab, moving the crossfader takes away the backwards tear, and vice versa. It's all about finding what sound you want.

  • with the cdjs you dont need to crossfade to do scratch chirps.. you can just scratch while its paused and cued and it will automatically return to the cue point as soon as you lift off the jog wheel

  • Like I said, it comes down to what feels right.

  • Has anyone heard of LA Tropicals Inc? Theyre selling a cdj 1000 mk3 for $455. I think its too good to be true. I want to know if they are reliable. Thx.

  • this is cdj-800 mK1

  • damn I cant decide between the cdj 400 and cdj 800mk2

  • Seeing that you've owned the Stanton C.314, the 800mk2s would be an awesome choice! You'd be losing a few things, but they're awesome if you're used to the C.314s. The CDJ-400 just has a lot of features that you may not need. Although it's a great piece of gear, they go for about the same price, but it's really personal preference of what you'll be using.

  • yea thanks, I love everything about the 800s, but the 400s seem so much more user friendly...the extra features ofcourse, or I would have to get a really good mixer with the 800s

  • Word 'em yup man. I'm coppin' a pair of CDJ-800MK1s, I don't think I'll be needing the .mp3 feature, since I'll be getting Serato down the road, and basically you're still using CDs anyways, but with the 400s, you've got the option of flash drives, which means, no CDs scratching. Well, hopefully you get everything that you need man, and post up a new video with them. Keep me informed!

  • Ofcourse! Im thinking cdj 800 with djm 700 now, since the mixer will make up for all the effects and such! keep checking my page for new vids and comment! Cheers!

  • Right on man. I just copped a CDJ-800 for $325, now workin' on a 2nd pair, and possibly a DJM-600, not sure yet.

  • Man get the DJM 700, its a little bit more expensive but it has a lot of technology in it and It has more features then the 600, which is always good to have at youre disposal! Im going to get the Cdj 800mk 2s and a Djm 700,the only thing I didnt like about the 800 was no effects, but see the 700mixer makes up for that, you only have to invest in top of the line professional gear once right, its like a Mercedes, you only have to buy it once, will last forever as long as you take care of it lol!

  • Yeah, but the MK2 is not much different from the MK1, and the DJM 700 is a bit pricey and I don't think I'll be using all the features it has. the DJM 600 is best suited for what I'll be doing, some mixing, using the FX, nothing too fancy, but I just like that mixer, plus it matches the whole setup. You get the MK2 and 700 and I'll have the MK1 and 600, we'll be like Pioneer twins. lol

  • features? dont be fooled that smaller jog wheel just isnt as good, if you need effects that badly buy an effects box, efx 500's dead good much esier to use as a seperate unit too

  • how much is 1?

  • these cost more unless you got good resources and know where to get it.. check out craigslist, or pawnshops if you got the patience to do so, just make sure you know enough about these things so you dont get ripped off

  • nice, those are pretty dope

  • arkadaşlar üzgünümki artık pc dünyası dj mixerlerimizin de önüne geçti :S:(

  • Stoppid pillok at the top...gettin a ps3 insted...a ps3 costs £400($760) these cost twice that..MUppets

  • Man i aint no noob iv been DJing for the past 4yrs i said forgit gittin a ps3 im gitn me sum of these..Man Hella ignorant!!1

  • Man fuck gitn a ps3 fo christmas im gitn one of these

  • ughmmmm they kinda cost more than the ps3! haha noob!

  • hahahaha true that you cant get a job with a ps3. all you do is spend 60 dollars for a game when you could of done way more things with that kind of money.

  • a ps3 cant get you a job

  • thats what he said...

  • u look gay with those earings

  • PT1

To the maker of the vid - i feel the same way about my 800's!

The Mk1 version of the Pioneer CDJ 800 decks are around £350 ea. Mk2 around £430.

The mixer looks like a Pioneer DJM 600 which i think are about £600. sorry if it's a little vague but i haven't been window shopping recently. Don't forget a decent set of headphones.

  • PT2

I don't use anything other than Senheiser! (£80-150)

You should be able to get a good discount if purchasing altogether. Why not get some Technics SL1200/1210 Mk5G or Numark TTX-1. I'd recommend the Numarks over the Mk5G.

    Hope that helps

  • and how much is all this? lol? its all fucking kwl and i want one xD

  • Cool vid man!

    Keep it up...

About to make the move from my 1210s to 800s ,im excited but my wallet isnt!

  • does the cdj 1000 mk3 have the quick return function.this is at 38 sec into the video?

  • very nice!) thanks!

  • świetny deck!!!

  • Im shiting myself i just bought the CDJ 1000MK 3's

And this 800 can do the same fuckin thing ERRRR lol!!!

I wish i would of known this sooner and i actually like the steps for the beat build up that is not on the MK3!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell lol waaa waaaaa booo hooo im done .............................(sniffle)

  • can someone compare the denon dn-s3500 to the pioneer cdj-800 which one is better can someone please tell me

  • The clumi dj in has the same exact Setup... the effects on the mixer are great!!!

  • nice review, tell santa i'd like to have one too ;)

  • You are a very lucky boy this year!

Its a good thing that Santa knows what a quality CDJ is, and didn't bring you a sub-standard flimsy flashy paperweight. The best of luck with your mixing.

  • Dear Santa,

This Christmas I would like a complete DJ set, with 2X Pioneer CDJ-1000Mk3 (Or CDJ 800 if your running out of money), and a MDJ-800 Mixer. I will be good, i promise Santa.

  • madonna k figo

  • bella roba!!

  • Good Handling!!! ;)

  • put sum house music!

  • Learn how to play a Fotzenhobel, then we'll see who's best

  • but santa wont bring me one :[

  • nice man!

  • PSYTRANCE? Go kill yourself with that genre lol...

  • PUT ON SOME PSYTRANCE ON THAT CDJs !!!

WATCHING HOW THEY PLAY THAT KIND OF MUSIC IS JUST A WASTE OF TECHNOLOGY!!!!

  • Amen! Such a waste of great Pioneer technology.

  • Trance is NRG for pussies.

  • Thats not me in the vid, this is a review someone else made.
