Well, I wouldn't be too proud about french cars... We're pretty useless when it comes to making "good" cars (although we're making some progress)... Look at the Germans with Porsche. Look at the Italians with Ferrari and Lambo. Look at England with Aston Martin and Bentley. No wonder we're said to be "chauvinists" !! When ONE good thing comes out, we need to say it's THE best (which is almost always not true).

I'd like to see this car on the top gear "lap times board" though :)

Tu as déjà comparé le prix d'une Renault et d'une Porsche? C'est une question de marché. Les Français ont toujours fait des voitures pop. Le jours où tu trouveras une AM au prix d'une Peugeot, tu pourras effectivement dire les les Fr font de la merde. Maintenant, si tu penses que les Fr ne sont pas capable d'en faire, les résultats sportifs auto de ces dernières années devraient te mettre le doute. Et personne n'a dit "the best", tu le déduis toi-même, en bon franco-masochiste : )

Je parlais pas de prix, mais de la réaction des gens sur la capacité des marques fr à faire des voitures sportives commercialisables pouvants rivaliser avec les "grandes" marques. C'est dommage que les marques françaises ne se lancent que trop peu dans ce domaine (surtout au vu des résultats sportifs comm tu le dis). Et pour en revenir à "Normal it's a french car" l'air de dire "on est trop bon" ca fait un peu "the best", je pense que d'autres marques sont meilleures dans ce domaine là
