I hate to admit it, but they are super similar. But people copy phrases all the time, just take out the phrase he copied & its somewhat original. He does have some original work. But I think he is trying to get away from the nerd, & has made up a like mid 60's corny character. Sort of the Beaver type, even if he was stealing certain aspects you don't treat a person like that, of course people imitate successful things because they make money. This why most movies have same plots, & times.
