  • a friend who is Jehova witness played this game, and he gave away this game because he was questioning his faith, he said that the "Ethos" remind him to the watchtower.

  • There's so much fucking Bach in this song it's incredible.

  • I remember when i first heard this song while playing, I would just leave my controller down and listen....no other game to date had that kind of power over me.

  • @evangelion339

    amen

  • Ship of regret and sleep...referring to the mother ship that crashed prior to civilization? Or possibly Noah's ark? (idk)

  • Game Over theme... heard this a LOT

  • Square enix is scared of remaking this game. Their "Final Fantasy" dreams will end...

  • Best RPG in History . period

  • I shall always hold this piece dear. The chromatic bassline in the left hand, the haunting choir backing, and the swashbuckling grittiness of the harpsichord. :)

Thank you for sharing all this with us, PC!

  • Xenogears will always be one of the best rpg ever made. You can learn alot from this game just by playing and reading it (you have to read or you'll be stuck for a while). I still have both the cd's when it came out and they both work ok.

  • @VigilanceDX i have the isos :D

  • @VigilanceDX No its not just the greatest RPG ever made, its one of a few greatest games ever made.

  • @MrXeno55 You know what, your right. Lets not rank it as another great RPG game, but as one of the greatest games ever made.

  • @VigilanceDX Agreed x1000. You'd be surprised the amount of things you can learn about human nature, morals, and love by playing a video game. Things like these transcend fun, and become works of art.

  • @Bushido21XX Then real life goes and surprises you, ha! Sadly truth is stranger then fiction.

  • powerful song

  • Hm...did this play somewhere else before you meet Billy? I can't remember but maybe I'm just overthinking it.

  • @muronomu I believe it was played in the room when Rico smells his mother in the Kaiser's building.

  • @muronomu yea im sure its played in nisan when margaret returns and they visit the church. its played when fei has a memory of his life as lacan painting the holy mother sofia.

  • Billy is a saint carrying a gun on his sleeve...

  • @razaler Billy is the "light" version of Jr., who is "dark".

  • @deadpisser88

Kinda... I think Jr is nothing like Billy... except for the clothing and daddy issues of course.

  • Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui Jesus. Sancta Maria mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

  • @darthgrahf praise mary, the lord is with you, blessed are you in woman, and blessed is the of jesus. Holy Mary mother of god, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. amen. i like how you post catholic prayers in latin, and i like being able to translate them lol.

  • @hellothereimasian Funny thing is I'm not even Catholic, the Ethos HQ just reminds me of the Catholic Church (before we figure out that it's really an organization of the Solarian Reich)

  • @darthgrahf lol i get what you mean, although it does remind me of when catholicism would buy your way into heaven and allowed indulgences. when grahf empowered bishop stone it made me laugh just cause it looked like a brain with eyes.

  • @darthgrahf Ethos reminds me of the Order of Magdalene from Chrono Crusade, now that I think of it...with the way that Billy totes a gun and is not really a priest. Your comment made me think of the churchlike structure in Chrono Crusade.
