Just saw to the Greatest Hits from 1975. In Fact this was from 1965 and not from 1968, but never mind of 50 years Golden Ears****

Ik herinner me nog in 1975 toen ik *Greatest Hits* kocht van GE, de eerste helft was van de periode tot en met 1969 *the soft pop periode dus* en de 2e helft vanaf 1970 *the more rock periode*. Vanaf Back Home 1970 werd de sound plots *harder* door toedoen van Barry Hay, maar eigenlijk luister ik nog het liefst naar de oudste nummers tot en met Another 45 miles en Just a bit of peace in Heart.

Het blijft sowieso een fantastische band, nergens kapot te krijgen :-)

I do agree that this is a super song and could have been a big hit in England but sadly only Radar Love was a major hit.This I stand to be corrected was one of their biggest hits so should be on the best of....their material compilations.

My parents brought me this record back to Canada in 1966. I never heard it before, but thought it was great. I brought it to local radio station, and they taped it and played it for weeks. People loved it and apparently kept phoning the station wanting but the record--but it was never released here.

Big managerial mistake,they didn't give this the necessary promotion. It only did rather well here in Holland.

Dit was toch hun 2e grote hit na "Please go". Leuk om het weer 's te horen. Lijkt heel erg op the Beatles als ik dat zo mag stellen. Ben zelf 44 dus feitelijk in de jaren 60 geboren maar vind deze muziek tijdloos.

Barry left his group the Hagues and took his place. Although the Earrings are still good and I am going to their concert in October, the real Earringsound has never been the same.
