  • Wonder where this was for people to think this piece ended on a 7th chord and start clapping

  • The piano should of closed the top or had it on the bottom latch. it should only be that high if playing with a much larger ensemble or symphony

  • Amazing, thanks for sharing!

  • WOW!! What a beautiful performance. :)

  • This is near impossible to play on a double bass, because it is tuned in fourths and has only four strings. The arpeggione has six (also tuned in fourths, but with a thisrd in the middle. Just like a guitar), so the jumps are not at large, Any bassist tackling this piece has guts, in my opinion.

  • @UncleTito72 Yea! Played this one on viola and it's still not easy. The 16th note sections always sound sloppy on a Bass with those thick strings as well but wonderfully done!

  • shame about the audience! bravo!

  • Is that pianist playing with a hammer?

  • man! as usual, the pianist plays way too loud. Ugh! Oh well, it is still a beautiful performance and masterful piece

  • quel musicien! bravo bernard! great job!!

  • Is this Bernard Cazauran in any way related to Jacques Cazauran, who was the bassist in Arthur Grumiaux's recording of the Trout Quintet?

  • Yes, he is the son

  • too bad you cannot actually hear the bass. very nice technique... sound though...

  • piano est trop fort donc pas de précision

    en tant qu`une thème sonata.domage

  • impossible! his fingers are too fast for watching^

    wahnsinn der typ!

  • The best "Arpeggione" performance on youtube! Bravo!

  • Miracle. Ça n`est pas human.
