  • Anybody else here from their music course?

  • @PureZOOKS What do you mean? Who is this "their" that you are referring to? When you say "their" are you referring to Lick the Tins? And what music course are you talking about? Very confusing.....

  • @3TNT3 In this country, a very common part of the music course in upper school is covering music. This song is chosen because it has been covered by many artists.

I say "their" to refer to the person in the course.

Most people have only heard of this cover from the course.

  • @PureZOOKS Okay, thank you for clearing up the confusion a bit. One last question: what country are you from?

  • @3TNT3 England

  • The Snapper anyone ??

  • Great Song :) Just after watchin the snapper so had to look it up :) PROUD TO BE IRISH <3

  • Just watched the snapper :) !!!

  • Thumbs up if the movie the snapper brought you here!!

  • I have to say. I think her voice is amazing. Love this version of this beautiful song. I am very proud Irish but its a shame the way the country has gone through (nothing but....) sheer greed.

  • @fluffycheep Hello! I agree with you. Wonderful version. I am sorry for what is happening in Ireland, I am italian but I love your country. At least you are not surrounded by italians that think only to food, drink and our "poor" footbal. All the best wishes for your country, for all wonderful people; I can not imagine my life without Guinness!!!

    Ciao from Italy.

  • Thank you SOOO much for posting this. We have the film "The Snapper" and watch it over & over. It doesn't show on the credits who is singing this song and we've been thrilled to find this and listen to the long version. We are both of Irish descent, born in England and living in Canada for 36 years now, we'll be passing this on to family & friends. Thank you again.

  • Just great to listen to. Anyone have an idea what they are all diong now?

  • I have the same question. Where can I find the download for this song?

  • I have the short version of this song, but where can I find the extended version for download?

  • Both the long and the short version are on the CD on the second slide of the video. It is called Blind Man on a Flying Horse.

  • Thanks mkearley - I don't want to buy the whole album just the song (extended version). I noticed they don't have this one on iTunes (only short version)

  • Comment removed

  • I always loved this version. I was glad when I found it.

  • I used to have this version back in 86 when it was released . And i still love it today . Apparently if i am not mistaken . This band called themselves lick the tins after a local tramp in the Guitarist ( Ronan Heenan's) home town . Strange but true (LOL)
