I don't understand why none of this is labeled in the ingrediants on the product. That is not addressed in this interview at all, she just says to look at the best before date......why isn't it in the ingredients?
The author is not telling you that the juice is pasteurized for safety and extended shelf life. If not pasteurized, you risk E.Coli or Salmonella poisoning. Never drink unpasteurized juice from the market. Check out the FDA website for more informed data relating to juice products. I am a blue collared worker at Trop and process only FL oranges. Juice from Brazil is regulated as in the US. We have employees there to make sure. And juice "storage" is constantly flowing. That's the WHOLE truth.
I'm not sure why people are so surprised. It's processed food for goodness sake; it's going to be processed. Eat an orange or make fresh juice instead.
yes, they happen to be, Google Image her name and you'll see. The hair growth pattern is different than "normal" on her right eyebrow. Not everyone's is perfect.
I cant believe we as consumers have been fooled for so long about orange juice. The Canadian government is by far way too lax with its dietary control and regulations. Too many people are becoming sick from poor manufacturing standards, and by added chemicals to their food. There is by far too much greed happening in our food regulation industry.
I stopped drinking OJ as I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and then I just started to smell weird metallic chemicals inside an OJ carton which really kills the taste. I don't know why I never caught it before, I guess I always thought it was all the good stuff.
thank you this was most informative. i heard tell that our bodies actually process oranges best when we eat them - section by section - even a fresh squeezed orange can be a sugar rush - where as munching on a section is a bit of a slower gentler kinder ingestion. xxlindsay your far
A question for you juicers. Why not just eat the actual fruit without hassling with juicing!? Plus you're missing out on a lot of the very beneficial natural fiber by juicing...
Even the non organic ones must be better than the highly processed and chemically induced orange juice. Though I suppose if you look really hard, you can actually find some real healthy orange juice. good luck though! Better off finding some nice old orange trees in your neighborhood. They are the best.
its depends on the source, try to buy local. Also be sure it has nothing added. Should have no additional ingredients other than oranges and water really.
yes because there is no pesticides...In terms of nutrients value probably no because of pasteurization. Unless you can find a lightly pasteurized brand
Best way to get your vitamin C + REAL orange juice is from is juicing.
Buy a juicer! They're not expensive at all. Get some fresh organic oranges, juice and drink. Talk about truly refreshing. There's nothing like it. You get all the nutrients & vitamins plus flavor. The REAL thing! Not some deoxidized GMO nutrient depleted aspartame poisoned chemical mystery toxic mess that's been fermenting in some 'million gallon aseptic storage tank" for who knows how long, under questionable conditions..
Absolutely! Good for you! Juicer cleaning is a minor PITA compared to the benefits : )
Jucing is wonderful for cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, celery, apples, etc. There's nothing like it. Been juicing for years now, ever since I can remember. Never get sick either.
One you get into juicing REAL vegetables & fruits etc. (organic produce is best) you never go back to preservative-laden, fake 'nutrition' toxic additive, industrialized store bought canned garbage. The difference is night & day
@fashionhistorylover Navel Oranges are the best tasting orange juice you will ever have. Get a Juicer and squeeze out 2 every couple of days and you'll be hooked.
I just bought a Organic one today. I should love it. It feels like you drank something. Not just filled your stomach with sugar.
the oranges and other gentically modified produce is dupleted of most if not al it's nutritional value, advertisements lie right in your face all the time, but we just passively accept the lies as truths, repeat there is absolutely zero nuritional value in the orange juice we drink, the orange juice that we drink has been stored in tanks for about year and orange juice flavour pacs have been added to the juice to sweeten and toxify the juice, you're not tasting the real taste of the orange

Good information ... but I must ask: Are her (the author) eyebrows different? Would there be a reason to intentionally do it that way?

I can't help but feel my heart pound and want to profess admiration just listening to the tone and character of Alissa Hamilton.
There is just something so right about her. Who ever wins her heart is one fortunate person.
