I personally think that this monotonous song is not suitable for a sensitive and powerful singer like Chyi Yu, Chyi Yu is way above this kind of songs --- given its monotony, more suitable for singers like Tanita, see what I mean by searching the songs I listed above. There is no way, NO WAY that Tanita has the vocal range to sing any of the songs I listed above.

One thing I'll say in Chyi's defense--ENglish isn't her first language. In fact, who knows if she can speak it at all. SO, even if she knows what the song is about, you can understand why the 'emotion' of it might be a little off...
