It's been a few years now, and still no NA version of this game. people check out the game called "HUNTER BLADE", it's an online game and also a ripoff of monster hunter. give this game a try cuz I don't think MHFrontier will ever be released in NA.

@kennikia2234 Like i said, besides mhtri. But the servers are starting to die out. a few years ago, the servers were indeed packed, about more than 10,000 on a day. That was alot for monster hunter. But now its less than 1000, and on good days, a little more. But with proper advertising, frontier will do good, included that they have as much in the game as in japan. Capcom should think about that. There wasn't very much to do in tri since theres only 13 big monsters...

The game have tons of bugs and is p2w. If you liked that you never played a real monster hunter game online.

Y'all do realize the reason why Monster Hunter Tri was on Wii is because putting it on PS3 would require them to put it on a blu-ray disc and those are expensive to make, MH over here is such a niche game, they'd probably lose more money on the game they would profit. From what I understand this is a server wide battle and it shares hp with the whole server. Finally a big monster that realistically needs more than 4 hunters to take it down. Wish I could play :(

@RyuHoly what happens is that since the Raviente is so big and has so much hp, it would take a long time to kill it, and to shorten the battle and to make it not impossible they give you 4 computer controlled NPCs that help you out, but it still is 4 human-controlled players per quest. to answer your question yes NPCs are CPU players

i think its a shame that the biggest monster in the monster hunter franchise is a snake dragon thing :/ couldn't thy think up something else? like a crab monster with instead of a shell, has a small mountain on its back that you can climb on and mine from while you fight it. or a wyvern with massive wings thats constantly inflight as you fight it, maybe even ride it.

just saying, this thing is kinda unoriginal, and it looks goofy

I played it for the Wii on my friend's Wii when the game first came out and they still had those stupid Japanese commercials for the game. My friend got it for free and after playing it with me, taking turns, she tossed it out. That is how bad it is on the Wii. So bad she tossed a free game. She went out and got a PS3 cause "Wii sucks."

So wouldn't they have released it for xbox if they wanted to increase sales seeing as how most people have a xbox in the US. (which sucks compared to the PS3 also.)

@nosferato6 They aren't focused on putting money in to rework a game for Xbox just to sell it to an audience that might not buy it. Translating Tri was a much cheaper option.

Also consider that more people still own the Wii than the Xbox in America and Japan.
