Is God favorable to a certain political party? I ask b/c nobody at my church likes me on account of my political leanings.
It doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not out there agreeing w/ abortion, I'm not doing anything that goes against Biblical teachings. I just happened to be inspired by people who are diplomatic. If I could learn how to do that, I'd get along w/ my bosses better. So I don't see what's wrong with being inspired by someone who has people skills.

What in blue blazes is God trying to teach us about the idea of letting my daughter's dad die in the World Trade Center at the lowest time in her life?
Something terrible had happened to her a few months before he died, and the only way she could get through it was to have him there making her feel safe in an immediate way. He used to be a boxer and could make her feel safe.
I totally see nothing beneficial about the whole sordid affair, which we're never allowed to forget. (Can you say mosque)
I know how she felt, i have a few testimonies about the Lord and how He personally showed me things and made me understand His love. When it comes upon you, you know it's 100% God! Praise the Lord!
thank you so much.. I know what it means.. I never used to tell any of my needs to anyone as a kid, i just thought if they know it, they might buy it for me.. I wanted it from God.. He was always faithful... My Dad never bought me any clothes from 4th grade or so,neither my mom had money.. But i always had the best branded stuff, it was there when i needed that.. Some relative will come in time and it will be provided.. "God of faithfulness and without injustice, good and upright is He"

I have had things like that happen in my life too. They are kind of rare, lest we would take them for granted. I Love to remember my experiences. He does Love You so Much!!!
I cant tell you how much this has been of blessing. God made a promise to me and I have been so doubtful of him bc I dont see it. And he keeps telling me he will do what he said and again I doubt. I was trying to sleep and I started talking with God. I told him it was hard to believe without seeing and I needed him to talk to me. I got up n started watching ur skits. I saw all of them n was about to sleep when I clicked on this one for the heck of it. I couldnt stop crying! Thank you so much!!!!

I know that God sent me to this drama today because me and my husband as well have been trying to have kids for 5 plus years. We know that God is faithful. In Genesis God said to be fruitful and multiply, that was a direct command from God, it is with our bodies so we know according to Gods word it will be done to us. You're talking about Philippians 3:1... she's paraphrasing Philippians 3:8-9 "Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ (3:9) and become one with him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith."

I never have experiences like that.
My daughter's dad used to say "As long as there's life, there's hope."
He used to say it to me. I'd say my hope is gone and he'd say "As long as you're alive, there's hope."
He used to say he was going to be here when I finally mastered my problem and he'd be able to celebrate w/ me
He'd been gone for seven years when I finally mastered what he was talking about.
