okay, the music is crazy awesome.

get a new camera (wo)man, though. i've never been so frustrated with camerawork. If someone isn't playing, DON'T stay focused on their fret board. If they are, get at least one of their hands in the shot for god's sake. And when you have harmonies as good as these, show them all singing in the same shot if possible. Dynamic/energetic singing, focus on the face, not panning at a snail's pace through the chest area. Basic stuff, yeesh.

@mechanicalmanb I understand your anger. But I actually think this is a new way of filming...specifically the filming of indie rock bands. Sure it breaks a lot of rules, but it is pretty innovative. I don't know if it has a name, just call it " the one shot with a 10000 dollar camera technique".

i love the harmony. i mean, if they brought out justin timberlake to croon it almost wouldn't be out of place. i listened to the album and liked it, and then i saw them at pitchfork. i fell in love. if you get a chance to see these guys live, DO IT. it was an incredible experience that brought the album to a whole new level.
