every one is so fucking stupid, "you cant reload a garand with a full clip", theres a button on the right side that you press and the clip pops up and you can grab it.
pretty close, but he wastes time just putting the clip in the reciever and then repositioning his hand to push it in. in combat, you'd probably just want to do it all in one motion to make sure that if you stumble, the clip doesnt fall out, and it saves time.
U r very right about the recoil being too light. I think the M1 Animations for Cod3 were the most realistic of all the cods. In WaW when u put the cartridge in the gun the slit or shell release automatically slams forward which is completely wrong, the animation on this video is perfect!
oh yeah, i know what you mean and same in moh airborne with an mp40 you pull the empty mag away and its like all of a sudden its full again and you can put a new one in
cool, is your the one with the tarawa landing as the first level or the one with the pearl harbor as the first level because from what ive seen theres two versions
Oh, thats rising sun, the little one, PA is beastly, easily the most realistic and historically accurate of all the MOHs, and is my favorite one in the series, all the weapons and sounds are realistic and accurate, theres a few inaccuracies, but compared to the other MOH games, this towers far above them, plus theres a director's edition and all kinds of veteran interviews, eyewitness accounts, developer interviews, air recon maps ect.
No, its a REALLY high powered PC game, since it has such amazing next-gen graphics it cant be ported, the graphics and gameplay are so good, its all photo-realism, nothing blurry or cartoony looking, its got this dark, gritty, battle worn look, but at the same time, its got BEAUTIFUL tropical jungles, animals, birds, fish, turtles, parriots, anthills, termite mounds, everything is so real and detailed, the gameplay is all squad based and you can control them, and even a medic system is in there
Yeah, I have MoH PA and it is the most realistic MoH there is. Very detailed, weapons are nice, and overall story line is amazing! Only problem was I needed to upgrade my PC a few times to play. A 2004 game, but you need a good PC to run it.
I have a 2009 Dell Vista Studio XPS, exclusivlely for next gen gaming, PA is a cakewalk with this beast, I'm at full res, highest possible settings, and it plays at 60 fps...Silky smooth!
Well all the BIA games, except EIB, that wont work on Vista, some old CODs, Splinter cells games, Flight Sims, Battlefield, ARMA2, Red Orchestra, and a few others.
have you ever played rainbow 6 vegas 2? Man, if most games were like that it would be awesome! RO is great too. great that the weapons arent centered to the screen. Theres also a mod for it called "Darkest Hour". Ever heard of it?
I rented in a few months back, I was really impressed, RO is another great game, I really like its realism and originality in the gameplay. I heard a lot about DH, nice to see Normandy in a RO type game. I'd like to download it.
hey can you send me these models in .3ds format or .max format. i really want to animate this m1 and i want to use those rigs...i would really appreciate it.......please comment back
I' am not the one that is continuing this argument by saying nonsense things. But I will say that I apologize for saying what i did as a reply for your comment, stating that i cannot use this model and rig set-up because i know that you were just saying no, i just was a little mad because i wasn't able to use it, that's all. Like i said, i apologize.
Hey, YOU MUST have this animation for the Resistance and Liberation BETA, it's so good, because in the game at the moment if you reload in the middle of the clip, it reloads like it is shot empty with 8 shots. So, please find a way to get this back please!
To...? And why should I calm down? It's hot here. You say it's redone, but when do I see this animation then? I do not see it in Alpha 4. Explain please.
is this the REAL and actual reloading of an M1 GARAND???on animation? or does the bolt automatically go forward after loading the clip of 8 rounds? just beware of the garand thumb eh?
@LoneWolf051 indeed! this is quite true! but still, BIA is the best WWII shooter our there right now I believe (not including mods, coz this beats its pants off)
@valttu94 And in BIA most famously. Reloading is simply what you see in the vid, pull the bolt back and hold it there, then press the clip latch, the clips pops out, allowing you to reload, takes me about 5 seconds to complete the process with my rifle.
After 4 or 5 times, it becomes so easy, its just second nature. Its much more practical and easy to reload an M1 mid clip than the slow, clumsy single rounds in bolt action rifles, the Garand's mid clip reload is one of it's many advantages.
Well, would you care to share how you reload an M1? And I am talking about when the rifle has an unspent clip inside, not after the clip has been spent.
Electronparade, you pull back and lock the Operating rod, then you press the clip ejection button on the left side of the receiver, the clip pops right out, then you simply put in a fresh clip, and save the partially spent one for later.
It's a very simple and easy process, it takes me about 3-4 seconds total to do it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Aside from the fact that there is no "clip ejection" on the M1 Garand. That's why in reality you had to spend the whole clip before reloading. The Garand didn't have any sort of "clip ejection" on the weapon.
If you knew ANYTHING about the M1, you'd know there's a ejection button on the left side of the receiver. And no, you DON'T have to empty the whole clip in order to reload, that's just a noob theroy that's COMPLETE crap.
look at the "related videos", under "loading and reloading the M1 Garand", that's proof.
Awesome reload. In BIA at least you could reload the Garand half-way through (unlike MoH and CoD) but the reload animation was wrong and no way near as good as this one.
that looks great, whats it for?, you shouldnt have to slam the bolt forward, as such, but more, when you put the mag in and push THAT down, the bolt should fly back automatically.
The bolt does require regular slamming-forward. The rounds pushing on the follower create a very tight fit with the enbloc clip snuggly in the reciever, and in my M1 Garand experience, very rarely does the bolt ever chamber the first round by itself. A little slamming is usually required to close it, even though common gun safety doctrine almost always cautions against this action. A little jab at the op rod will cause the spring to do the rest of the work, but a little incouragement is needed.
My Garand is about 1/2 and 1/2. Sometimes it chambers a round all on it's own, as soon as I put in the clip. Sometimes I have to give the op-rod handle a shove. It never has failed to semi-auto chamber the other 7.
Very good, but it looked like the bolt was pushed close. On an M1 that's functioning properly, the bolt will slam shut as soon as the en bloc clip is inserted past the bottom of the bolt, oftentimes 'biting' a soldiers thumb, and resulting in several cases of Garand-thumb for new recruits.
If you have to push the bolt forward, then there's something seriously wrong with your rifle, and it will likely need to be pushed closed each and every shot.
Yeah, like in games, especially Halo, the mag just seems to appear in his hand.
If you are REALLY pulling a mag from your belt you have to reach down, unclip the pouch, reach in for the mag, pull it out, THEN you can slap it into your rifle.
Yeah, and in some cases (like SAS patrols) they'll be slipping tha half-full or empty mag into their belt or what-have-you so they can use it later which'll take up even more time.
Sorry that he isn't Masterchief or Boyd Travers (the spesh in MoH: Airborne) and doesn't just magically produce a clip instantly from no where and reload in less than 10 seconds. Retard.
