yes only if you have a very good comp with good graphics and such you know what i mean. but if you have a regular comp i suggest you upgrade it to crysis-high standard if you want to enjoy maximum HD strategy gaming. the gameplay is fun and enjoyable, only thing that matters is how good your comp is.

Half the reason you people can play GOOD graphics games is the Card- shitty card, the game will lag, and you will get very low FPS, A better card with higher memory will run smoother, but it also depends on your RAM, CPU to have a balanced "gaming computer".

a cpu process the physics and calculation, and graphics card helps with shadows and graphics, you can play a good game just whit a great graphics card an shitty processor, but those games are mostly fps, if you want rts buy a cool processor

Well, I got 2x3,0GHZ 2GBRAM and a ATI Radeon 3850 and can play it on very high, but it depends on the map.

There are maps with 60fps and some with 16. ;D

There are also some unimportant effects you can disable. (Unit tracks and so on)

I'm saving money for a ATI Radeon HD 3870 DDR4 .....fairly cheap but evens the 8800 GTX

And I downloaded the demo....and it gives an average FPS of 75-80-90, but is it true that the rendering technique was improved in the full-version and thus better performance...?

yes but not on high settings world in conflict is a monster game you will need a really good graphics card like a 8800GTX or Ultra the cpu is good enough and the RAM but is just the card ,well that is what i believe

No. If you have 8600, you can already run very smoothly. I run this game on HD 3870 and there's almost no difference from a 8600
