he is a mixed breed which involved various hounds, and at least one German Shepherd. I think I could train him not to eat the rats, but his disposal system seems preferable.

@deaeregydd you probly wont stop him from eating them now if he got a taste for them ha ha , what else do you use him for ??
he seems to love them. I can't get him fresher dog food!
