This is true. I've been sober for almost a year now. And believe me that life and love really is the good stuff. When you a heavy drinker and an addict like I was all that just brings is pain and sorrow. If you can control it that's fine, but when you start because your hurt or mad or in a bad mood, that's when it takes over and that path sucks. My girlfriend got me sober and I've never been happier.
