I get it! One reason why she looks so engaging and most other dancers don't - she uses her hands and arms - she is telling a story with it - and also she moves the legs -

when watching many other dancers, they keep their arms static and just move th belly or chest - so the dance looks like isolation exercise rather than "story"

dina on that show which i shared with you regarding that small egyptian belly dancer , on another episode they interviewed fifi abdo and they put small scenes of belly dancers , and in one of the scenes a dancing duo of soheir and nagwa , couldnt find it on youtube , but soheir definitely shines when in solo , because in that dance she didnt , nagwa took all the charm and looked more proffessional :)
