ha if i owned one i would tell you, my first car was a honda and it was given to me so i traded it for a 97 stang gt, then sold that and bought a 99 dakota r/t which is pretty far from a honda. btw my girlfriend had a completely stock automatic 05 gt and and i beat a mazdaspeed three with it. dont get me wrong those mazdas are very fast for the money but dont call a mustang slow.

dont get me wrong, i love ford and i love the mustang. i was gunna get a mustang but i needed an AWD car for the winters. all im saying is how much better it would be if it was a tad lighter with a bigger engine. i mean, look at the vettes with the 6.0's. if ford dropped a motor similar to that in a stang it would be godly. i was just saying its slow because i modded and tuned my speed 6 and i beat 2010 stangs. thats the only reason why i said anything in the first place.

FYI, if you are driving a Speed6 like your name implies, the engine you are using is a modified inline-4 ford engine, similar to the one found in a ford focus just so you know. Not mention a large portion of the components are straight out of the focus with the exception of the turbo, its manifold and obvious things like the tranny. Oh and 3,589lb for a 4 cylinder sedan isn't that great either as far as weight goes. Not hating because I own a Mazda 6 but just stating facts.

You want to bet on that & if it were true they would have offered it as an option in the 2010 mustang gt so the 5.0 is a myth because it would have came with the 2010 gt it wouldnt make business sense it didnt come along with it. I guess we will have to wait till 2014 when v-6's are pumping out 400hp & the mustang gt will most likely b pumpin out 350hp mustang gt is slowly falling behind atleast drop the wieght 300-400lbs give us a better base to start with

they are going to put the coyote 5.0 engines in the ford f-150 engines first right now they are running tests on the engine and putting them in the mustangs and the whole f-150 line up and they will be phasing out the 5.4 in the cobra and hopefully replacing it with the 5.0 coyote but they are still researching the engine so it can have as much fuel economy as a v-6 but with v-8 hp and tq

You buy a mustang so you can add mods. Ford could ship them out the door at 350 to 450 HP, but where is the fun in that. I buy a 30K car and then add (CAI, High Flow Exaust, Under Pully, Computer Tune, Headers) all for about 1,600 bucks.... I am 362HP and my buddies have had some good saturday beer time working on the car.......

Yep the specs hit the web a few days ago. The V6 is getting updated with the MKS's V6 but will crank out 315 hp, Ford never said how they did that though with the MKS's V6 cranking out 273 hp. The GT is going to get exactly 400 hp but the torque numbers weren't release either. The GT500 will stay the same but will get an aluminum block to help it's weight. Ford also said the next special edition will be the return of the Boss for the 2012 model year.
