i feel deeply itchy feet watching your diashow. wonderful images captured of a magnificent scotish nature. i walked the way in Octobre 07 and filmed the whole trail.
This was an interesting clip, we travelled through the Great Glen on our last trip to Scotland. A most beautiful and rather desolate place, but did we really need the rantings of the English commentator commenting on the "bloody massacre". He should take a wee trip up to Culloden and describe the bloody massacre by the English of unarmed men at the conclusion of the battle there.
The great Montrose crossed the mamores in mid winter to send the Campbell rushing from Inverlochy to retreat down Loch lhinne with his fellow traitors.
First words out of the unmistakably English Geoffrey Wheeler (voice of gloom) are not about the breathtaking beautiful scenery but a massacre, death, cold blooded, meticulously planned, premeditated, slaughter, which 'WORLD famous' (WRONG, not well known in North America). The English sponsored program of genocide ('the clearances') in Glen Coe can not be repackaged as 'the Invasion of Sheep'!! The images are Scottish, the commentary slanted and 'bloody' depressing ...

@rhubodach Most of the army that defeated the Jacobites in Culloden were actually Scottish. The country was at civil war, one Monarchy, one Anarchy.

A commentary about where we are on the route would be better than a history lesson!
