@lilbit1511 somewhat. the thing is that it freezes alot so it could interrupt media and my bud says messaging isnt too good since it takes a while to recive or it doesnt ring when you got a new text. if i were you, get an optimus v (no wildfire) or the motorola triumph for the extra cash

@lilbit1511 well if i were you, i would get a used iphone (3gs) and unlock it for simple mobile (better than virgin imo) and done! i did that and saved a bunch of money. if you cant, then get a rumer lg touch (virgin mobile) its more stable. OR spoil yourself and get an optimus slider :3

Hey do anyone know if this phone has a front facing camera because if you look on target info about this phone, it says that it has a front-facing camera. I checked to make sure that it wasn't a glitch with the website and it wasn't glitch because I checked to see if the optimus v had a front facing camera and it said that it didn't! the phone isn't that bad. its not running eclair anymore its running Froyo. But it's best if you get this phone on a plan instead of prepaid because I heard that the prepaid 3G is awful. its really good for texting and calling. with the update now, its more touch responsive and it has 5 desktop home screens now. It is laggy but its alright. plus, you can download wallpapers and widgets from the android market to make it look nicer (i use transformers HD wallpaper) its also great as a GPS

Yes unfortunately a lot of Samsung phones other than the Samsung Epic (Sprint) doesn't have an LED notifier. There is one solution that I found. Go to the Android market and download an app called "noLED". What it will do is when you have a text, missed call or email it will light up the screen with icons notifying you of an alert. It works pretty well. Try it.

Not sure about this. I would imagine that if you have texting it should be to any mobile carrier including Verizon customers. But to make sure, just call Verizon or VM to make sure.

Yes indeed. You can either download LauncherPro or ADW Launcher, both of which are free in the Android Market. Both are great launchers, but I believe LauncherPro is a bit quicker.
