it is undeniable that the climate is getting warmer, the data exists. What is not proven, is that the cause of the warming is greenhouse gasses. Actually, the temperature has been increasing steadily since the 17th century long before the industrial revolution. In fact, there is a correlation between the rise in solar winds over the past 100 years and global warming.

I think those who are caught up on this need to rethink this for a second. Even IF greenhouse gases do not affect global warming that doesn't change the fact that IF we keep burning fossil fuels and producing green house gases, one day we will run out of fossil fuels. Not only that but urbanization is destroying wildlife and that therefore does effect the climate. Burning fuels and creating greenhouse gases may not effect the climate, but everything that follows does.

Antarctica is a very huge continent. If you don't believe me, look at a map. Its not ALL Antarctica that melts, but mostly in the west parts. The scientists are investigating why the melting accelerates. Same thing at the Arctic. It's the ice at the boundary that have started to melt faster. The Arctic nor Antarctic are not a static place with same temperature all year long.

I realize this will never sink in and this comment will get -100 votes, but there's nothing on this video that would convince 99.99% of viewers that she's wrong, and a lot that would convince them that the video maker is wrong.
If you want to show that someone is wrong you don't just stand there whining about some petition somewhere. You do it by calling them on lies, misleading statements, contradictions, or the things they didn't mention. This video did not do anything like that.

Last time I checked Humans had no control over Volcanoes and other natural occurances such as meteors hitting the earth or earthquakes.But we do have control over how much polution we generate.
Volcanoes also have the opposite effect of global warming.Because the ash that sits in the atmosphere reflects the sunlight away from earth causing a drop in global temps.

I recognize what FeatureLengthFilms said. I haven't researched it to be honest.
I used to be on the fence until my calculus proff made the same argument as Ballan49.
Either way, pollution is not up for debate... and we fix that the same way we fix global warming (I assume), so, cutting back on emissions is needed no matter how many reasons there are for it as long as there is one.

Thats true. Its one thing that I honestly dont understand about conspiracy theories prompting people to oppose the cut back of emissions and consumption.
Its a little frustrating to see every hipster and houswife claim that they are helping the planet by buying something with a little plastic green logo on it, but the whole "green shift" in my opinion is so important for our civilization for so many reasons. (hopefully) it will solve GW, oil dependencies and consumption all in one.
