It is the part of the soul of alice that was taken away from her by her master which made her weak without it, which was the part of soul from her past sealed in the book she holds unleashed out at the player it is more suiting for the boss if you play alice. The song is grimore of alice in a new version.

hello im back, now I know that i need 30 CP to unlock the fight, and the game only has 9 fps at the start of this fight and the beginning of every spell card.

i can only go on the third spell card, then i die, the lighting is really annoying

@jimmykudo1: Wow, been so long since I played this... But yeah, if I recall the lightning spell card is a pain even at a higher FPS.  Dodging at 9?...A nightmare. Good luck.

Actually,it only needed 20 coupling points to fight her,and it can be done on all difficulties even on easy.

At the time of uploading this video, the patch was just released and no one really knew a exact method to unlock her fight. Now we do though. :P

@Darkintagnir you actually need 30 pointss because i had 29 when i finished beating marisa and i got the flat end, i looked it up and it said you need 30, i was pissed bc i hated the ghost stages and sdm stages, those dam maids and annoying keyboard ghost with her ghost, who harass u XD

I just upgraded my ram played this game while recording it the whole way through with fraps and had lag time on this fight that went down to 48 FPS is all and my grouping point was like 53 on lunatic :D im happy now

By the way, how do you do that pullback trick with Alice? The one where you knock the enemy away, then pull it back with a doll?

roll the buttons: down + (direction aka left or right) + up + attack...

Holding attack at the end will bring them to you so you can attack chain them again, and just pressing will fling them into random crap and then you can chain your partners stuff like patchy's light rain thing.

Granted, but that'd have been too cliche ;P. Plus from what I can make of the "storyline" if there is one, this whole thing was the result of Alice's grimoire acting up.

Really fun fight, I've finally got my lunatic vid uploaded.

I didn't have that much trouble with Fraps, but I had to mess with the settings a bit. There's one checkbox in the settings that you can hit that makes it record much,much more smoothly.

I'm pretty much in rage right now because the game crashed during Remilia.

But I can tell that the screen flashes up when you reach more than 20 coupling points. On normal at least. Also the new maid in world 4 is a pain in the ass.

Btw, can you choose that stage in the selection screen or do you have to get the coupling points over and over again? If so, can someone send me a save file with Marisa/Alice unlocked?

You can choose it after your clear it, thus how I recorded this in the first place. Also in regards to the crashing at Remillia, I can only offer the following advice:

A. Don't spam spellcards till their very last spell card.

B. Kill Flandre/Remillia ASAP.

i'm guessing the lag is making it extremely difficult to pull off combos correct? incase it isn't. a good combo i do with this bunch is to have alice smack the enemy, bring them close, smack them away into a wall and quickly switch to patch to summon the sun beam, then slam with doll, sun beam, slam with doll, sun beam. Very effective combo.

Somewhat. It makes it easier for me to use 'simpler' commands like 28A to go through, but harder for commands like 236A (Patchu's sun beam) to go through on my computer. Thus I make do with what I can get.

i'm afraid to even try this because i get an FPS of 27 whenever i fight Kaguya and mokou's first spellcard on lunatic

Eh, it's not as bad as I made it seem without FRAPS. You should be able to get the same FPS in this fight with the exception for certain parts I marked out. Namely the "twilight zone" transitions and the whole "flame walls of doom".
