Videos nowdays, IF you can find a station that still plays them, they suck. We need to go back to the 80's and VH1 and MTV needs to go off the air untill they get back to playing videos instead of the trash shows they put on now.
I loved him in Californication. My jaw dropped a little when he he walked on screen (it's.....it's......RICK!!!) because I haven't seen him on screen in so long. To be honest I think it was 1989 when he did "Nick Knight".
*hangs head in shame*
I've been a fan since I was 11 and it was nice to see him on tv again. I don't wacth General Hospital, but it was cool that he returned.
It was great watching him play against character on Californication, so crude, yet funny.
Ahhh the good music, I wish todays musicans would take lessions from these artists of the past and do music right instead of all the wierd stuff their doing. This was THE era of True good music take lessions and Learn, these are the God Fathers and mothers of Music for the Future...
Rick Springfield was my first ever celebrity crush and I played this album into the ground. As a mom now, I'm happy to be teaching my kids (now teens) how to appreciate real music.
This is one of those songs that IF a modern musician with rock roots makes a remake..it will just KICK ASS...This song has rythym, punch, an AWESOME chorus, and just all the makings of a rippin' song....
Try pirate bay.org type Rick Springfield under Audio and everything he ever recorded should be on there. If you have bittorent you should be good to go
@happipuppi13 85' was an awesome year and a brighter time than 2day I think. My old buddy was a Rick Springfield fanatic but Iwas a Sammy Hagar fanatic. LOL
This was actually one of his better songs. The lyrics are lame, have you ever had a child? They have a LOT of hate in them. Take away their crayons and they'll knife you. :)
But this was a popular 80s message, remember Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth (OK so that was early 90s close enough)

He was a B-movie-acteur and i thought all the time he is gay! He was never as sexy and as beauty as Mickey Rourke! This gay was fuckin' a one fuck wonder........
MR looks like a wet dog's ass. He doesn't compare to Rick...in looks or talent because Rick has him beat by a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog shot. And just a spelling lesson, it's spelled a-c-t-o-r. And no, Rick is NOT gay, he's married with two sons,,,good looking ones at that.
