It is so funny reading these comments. Did she or didn't she sing live?? The truth is she didn't ... but isn't that funny that we can't tell? It just shows you how talented Menzel really is. I was lucky to catch her on the TV when she performed at the PBS Soundstage ... and I was stunned, she sounds exactly like her CD's ... which made me think ... how come people who can't sing like they sound on their Cd's win awards ... yet top notch singer's like Menzel can't??

I don't think she was pregnant when she sang this. She wasn't singing live here, I don't think she was even at the fireworks display, the song was prerecorded.

I don't know when exactly it was recorded, but she debuted it, live, at a concert held in NYC last April or thereabouts. That was the premiere of the whole American River Suite (so not an Idina concert). So most likely she was pregnant when this was recorded.
