  • awesome!

  • Great video and I was writing down the order of cooking the ingrediants, can't wait to try it out for real on my own. keep up the great tutorials and help us all out who need help in cooking chinese meals. Excellent, well done. From Colin in the UK.

  • I'm callin out for some right now !!!

  • Thank you for sharing this recipe!

  • the recipe itself, albeit many a times rehashed, and the sweet deliverance by the cute host overshadow the amateurish montage.

    nice.

  • @uniquegoat SIT THE FUCK DOON YAH WEE HIPSTER VEGGIE.

  • @izabel1395 I wonder why most meat eaters enjoy the word F ! What more can we expect from murderers!

  • Asmitrana From your comments apparently you do not cook much. Anybody that cooks knows when boneless chicken that is cut up into smaller pieces does not take very long to cook plus it continues to cook when she added the other ingredients

  • Damn she smash that garlic like a boss.

  • @asmitrana

Right, no one else ever died from Bird Flus. Also, humans have been eating raw meat in the jungle for millenniums.

  • @asmitrana Get a life....please, since when was chicken an UNUSUAL meat ? I find it really sad that anyone can post really negative comments for a great video.

    Thanks yeqiang for the recipe

  • @asmitrana get away.

  • @zehrakhoja SAME its so cute<3

  • what's up with the middle of the video? it like, speeds up, slows down.. then slowly speeds to normal

  • why si she in such a hurry?, damn girl slow down shooooot!!!!

  • She did well. We are not all morons. It's a shame that insults have to become part of something that is done for sharing good information. Shame on you folks who are English for insulting this lady, but shame on the people who jump on the band-wagon and insult the English speaking people. I wish all you people who wish to stir up trouble go kill each other and leave us people alone who want to share good things!

  • @Jimzemailz

I tried today for my boys and they were eating like mad. Thanks for the recipe. We appreciate it.

  • what happened to the sound???

  • She is sooo fucking HOT1

  • Thanks for taking the time to post this video, however I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't fast forwarded and sped up. Btw I really love your Wok stove

  • Shame the sound track has problems.

  • Thank you very much for your video.

  • I tried this recipe tonight and it was really good! I had been looking for a good recipe for chow mein to use as a basic recipe, and this worked nicely for me to play around with.

  • Listen and look more..appreciate great skills that are being shared with you..Fantastic food well done

  • Excellent english. Understandable, and the accent is what makes us chinese.. (I'm chinese :D My mom is from Xiamen and my dad is from Shanghai.)

  • That looks so good. I am going to make it for friends tonight and I will let you know what they think and how it turns out. Thank you.

  • Thank you so much for all your videos. Unfortunately I can't cook the moste of your recipes because I don't get all the ingredients here in Switzerland. But I'll try to get the missing ingredients from Germany because I loooove chinese food. And even if my english is bad it's really easy for me to understand you.

  • How ironic! The USA people don't even know their own language properly (lol she speek so weerd), and she can type YOUR language properly.

    USA IQ - 97

    China IQ - 100

    United Kingdom IQ - 100

USA, so low... Nice recipe BTW, Chinese food ftw. =P

  • Great video it look so yummy

  • 菜教的可以,但口音實在是…聽的怪難受的

  • OMG LOL @ 3:55 to 5:13

  • OMG i just realize i need a better knife..

  • Thank you for the recipe, I'm going to try it out for dinner tomorrow night. I think her English speaking skills are fine. As long as you can understand her it's fine.

I want to know who did the video editing for her, or if she did it herself...because part way in it was like chipmunks on crack and then she was possessed. >_<"

  • i love how you say corn starch haha

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to show how to make this dish, I can't wait to make it and try it. Now I will not have to run to the restaurant to make the dishes I love I'll just come here 2 C how it's done. Save the restaurant for special occasions like my wedding anniversary this month.

  • please use apron and cover hair or tie up you will look cleaner higenic and professional thanks for the recipie

  • hey come on! her english is okay, it just the way she speak is ridiculously funny, u can't blame her since the idiot chinese language have 4 kind of voice lol which is why she speak like cooking... btw as much as I want to tell everybody that your english is okay, u have to paused at 3:40, it's VEGETABLE not VEGITABLE

  • @edify88

It's ironic how you're correcting her English and spelling/grammar, while your own tenses are off, your usage of singular and plural nouns is slightly skewed, and you're lacking some verbs in the beginning of your sentence. Not to mention you're being extremely ignorant by saying "idiot chinese language."

  • @XoLittleCadet oh yeah my tenses are wrong... so what! I wrote it in 30 seconds... and I'm not a first english speaker as well... what are u? have u ever speak chinese or at least learned it? do u know the effect this language causes to their people while they are trying to speak other language? and one more... as far as language is concern in my opinion, language is an easier way to help people communicating with each other while chinese language have more than 6,000 characters

  • @XoLittleCadet yes, edify88 is one massive failure, preach on.

  • @edify88n Wow, I do believe you're semi to fully retarded. If you're going to criticize her, at least get your own language usage together. People are too picky over the internet, you're looking for some authentic ethnic cooking tips and you want it in perfect english. Please just go away and quit making excuses for your trolling.

  • @eleganz LOL!

  • WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE VOICE LOL ITS WEIRD

  • an you cook for me

  • You are an excellent teacher. Now I want to make this!!!! Thank you. : )

  • Loved the recipe, I will have to try this on the weekend. I went to your website for more but found that its in chinese. can someone tell me how to get this site in english. ty

  • Comment removed

  • The only thing that would have made this even better is if you had a stronger/higher heat, to stir fry it more thoroughly and faster. But still a very nice video recipe.

  • y does the video sound a bit funny n squeaky first then deep voice at 4.30?

  • most native english speakers speak very bad english as well. any time you see the words: for, by, to, etc. (prepositions) at the and of the sentence, it is an example of improper grammar.

  • She seems very friendly and she knows her stuff......Subbed!

  • I love chicken chow mein, thanks!!

I will be trying this at home.. hope i make it good lol

  • Iam love fried noodles, thankyou!

  • LOL at 4:38

  • some english people cant even speak english!

  • @zeadiss prime example: the stupid language people use in the ghetto

  • VERY NICE, I'LL TRY THIS HOME

  • Thank you for your recipe! But I must insist you do not tell people to use any cooking oil! It MUST be peanut oil. This gives the dish that authentic Chinese flavour, instead of that Western flavour!

  • i would have never thought to put sugar in a stir fry ... im not sure how that would taste but i guess its worth a try idk

  • @pinkezdaangel08 Adding sugar to any meal takes the edge off bitter food, especially tomatoes, and gives the dish a superb flavour!

  • You fools! Those of us that are multilingual(I personally speak 3 languages myself) learn to not look down upon those with a foreign accent because it means they speak one more language than YOU.

  • @SarahLee1: Exactly!

    People are so ridiculous.

  • nice n pleasant....

  • Funny, would be to ear the english morons to speek chinese!

    She's fine.

  • I think it's funny how so many native English speakers think it's so easy to learn English. It's not. English is incredibly hard to learn. Harder than Chinese, Russian, French, or Hebrew. immensely appreciate this video, yeqiang. Xie Xie.

  • @aragorn202 English is one of the easiest to learn...Who told you that?

Spanish it's harder to learn, even to write than English

  • This fucking video rocks!! I got suck a huge laugh I cant even tell you....uh man

I bet them noodles taste damn good tho

  • It's funny how people are making fun of her English speaking skills. I would like to personally see YOU go to China and speak THEIR language. Let's see how funny it would be to see you struggle with their language. At least she's bilingual, unlike some of you who only know ONE language.

  • @instantramen That's a good comment you made there. Some english speakers love to criticise non native speakers speaking English. The thing is native english speakers are notoriously bad at Asian languages and have a poor record in mastering any other foreign language. Native english speakers are sometimes viewed as incapable of mastering an asian language by asians due to this image.

  • @Dovelike

Thank you for your comment. Much appreciated :)

  • @instantramen I like the way she speaks.

  • @instantramen U RAFF U RUSE

  • @instantramen You said it! I love her accent. People shouldn't make fun of others for doing something fun and delicious!

  • @instantramen

Sorry i can't help it, but i laughed my ass off when she said sauce. I am on your side with the fact that people should not make fun of her, but sadly as a person living in Singapore, i am able to converse fluently in both chinese and english. =) please dont hate me

  • @instantramen Those people should respect her and not make fun of someone's language!

  • Even English people even can't speak or write proper grammar or spellings... People who laugh at other who have the most mistakes with in them. you come here to learn some thing.. You can't even do that properly...

  • @instantramen -I agree with you!!! I am learning Japanese and to learn a second language is not easy and I am sure I sound like an idiot to them. If people have a problem with her english then why are you watching her video? I came to learn how to fix food that I love to eat and not to judge someone.

  • @instantramen I agree with you 100% not only on the language barrier but the orient is the most sophisticated way of life in the world.

  • @instantramen angry gook

  • @impulse626

lol racist...the only thing you can do is attack a person's race...which is so weak.

  • @instantramen not some.. more like 99% of americans only speak english which is sad...

  • Comment removed

  • @spewy100 What do I expect? I expect my fellow Americans to quit acting like arrogant assholes. Many Americans are too lacking in education to speak any language other than their own (which they often do badly). Multiple languages have more native speakers than English, Americans need to learn languages besides their own unless they're just too damn stupid (which I'm beginning to believe many are). Want to give your kids a head start on a good job? Make them learn other languages.

  • I know that's right Chefkou. I am African American and I understand her just fine. people need to think about the wonderful dishes she is sharing.

  • I love your noodles, I made it exacly how you made it and it came out awesome, I think your accent is so cute!! thanks for the recipe!.

  • thank you very much for this wonderful vdo:)

  • I like her recipes, her clear pronunciation and the fact she's giving her knowledge to us for free. Thank you!

  • this may be dum, but i cant find any noodles at publix or a sweatbay, my local stores, and i have tons of ramen, could i just cook the noodles drain and put em in the wok and still make chow mein?

  • @Grislythrone ... yes, but don't overcook the ramen noodles. I would recommend boiling the ramen noodles for no more than 30 seconds ( so it's still al dente) and then drain and rinse well with cold water and drain again....u can then add a bit of oil to the noodles to prevent sticking and then stir fry according to recipe. Ramen noodles still have a diff texture than egg noodles so the chow mein will be a bit more softer but still tasty. I like to substitute w/ Soba noodles too for healthier

  • Is it possible to substitute the oil noodles with another type of noodle?

  • What is the use of Hoisin sauce ? Is it better than Soy sauce ? Can they be used toghether ?

  • not being able to pronounce english right is not that bad...i've seen many Ph.D who i could not understand lol :)

  • this looks so gooood!! Thanks a tonne!

  • This recipe is BY FAR the best chow mein I have ever eaten.

Thank you my dear. You are the BEST. (and I LIKE your English)

  • Dont put mushroom, it makes the dish too saucy.

  • Great dish, thanks for the video, I'll cook it for my family today :)

  • nice =D

thanks making this for dinner tomorrow ;)

  • She is Asian not English woman. And even in English there are bloody so many accent which even English people themself don't understand. This is just sickness to criticise others specially when he/she probably just knows one language only. Atleast this lady can speak two languages. She is well understandable to me

  • NICE RECIPE!!

  • I love your videos! They are so helpful and you have a very nice personality that makes me want to cook. You have such a passion for cooking! Thank you for putting this up. :)

  • nice job! looks really good!

  • great video, are you single!?

  • she's so adorable! i've tried a similar recipe with different noodles...i should try those...

  • This is great!

I also use Capsicum and onions in this!

There is a store near my house which makes delicious noodles and fried rice! I love to eat them with sweet/sour fish etc!

  • recipe was delicious! Thanks for posting!! Post MORE!!!!

  • Corn Starch lol!

  • thank you soo much..

my first time cooking it and wow it turned out great...

    thanks for the help..

  • i love her enthusiasm and passion for chinese food. makes the food even better than it is!

  • The best chow meins I've tasted had a roasted taste, so I fry the noodles a little and stir fry / roast the chilies (roasted chili seeds add good flavor). In this dish, I prefer the soy slightly reduced to decrease the raw/fermented taste and increase "roastiness" (pouring it directly on the noodles seems like it would just immediately absorb into them). Finally, I've noticed that when julienned (matchstick), all the ingredients mix / fit into the noodles easiest.

  • I am from Taiwan and you have very sweet spirit...I love your show very much

Thanks for showing me how to cook.:)

  • very nice video & i like all of your recipes!! Really appreciate, if it's explain in english too - All the Best!!

  • lmao Corn STARCH!!
